I have wrote this small suggestion regarding the rules on deathrun, specifically skipping traps.
A trap which has been activated, and poses no risk to a players death, should be by all means be available to be avoided in any way the player chooses, whether to go a separate route or another.
Example: Going around a trap with a lava pool, a large open space on the sides, with a block in the centre. If this trap has been activated, and the block in the middle cannot be pushed upwards, sideways etc, the player should be able to freely choose whichever route they see is best suited for them.
Example 1: Use the block in the centre of the lava trap to progress forward making two jumps.
Example 2: Choose to manoeuvre around the block in the centre by jumping around the block, this case would mostly be used by Bunny-Hoppers, to dramatically lower risk of hitting the block in the centre and falling into said lava trap.
The skipping rule should only be effective when: A player uses a mechanic such as Bunny-Hopping or Exploiting to skip an ENTIRE trap (which has not been activated, and poses risk to any player) onto the other side, whether it be directly forward, around, or above. Bunny-Hopping towards / going slightly onto a trap, but rapidly turning around as to BAIT the death into activating, should not count as a skip, as the player has not met the other side of the trap, making the player unable to progress the map, and the death missing one trap.
With this rule in effect, its making deathrun a more fun experience for many bunny-hoppers such as myself. And for other/newer players, who get slain without really understanding why or what they did incorrectly.
