Part of what makes panda great is how we don’t deal with the usual buffers and arguments of other communities. Having rebel status is ESSENTIAL to that. It ends so many conflicts and it makes the game way easier to play.
Not to mention how we don’t have rewardening, it’s important on a balance...
Normally I would remove the mute since its been 2 years. But I distinctly remember you being a bit of a nuisance, breaking several rules in a short amount of time.
So you need to earn our trust. You will have a review period of 2 weeks, where we will closely assess your behaviour. If you fail...
The problem is there’s reds that can fuck off and rebel, the point of last day Warday is that it (usually) ends fast and isn’t a traditional round.
They aren’t valid substitutes because it doesn’t last the whole day, there’s crucial time/ man management that people specifically want to avoid.
The reason why last day Warday is a thing is because it near guarantees the end of the map. And also, no LR is given, it’s ending the map on a blast and quickly rotating to the next one.
Letting people do normal round LRs that can end super quick defeats the entire point.
Literally everything you mentioned can be fixed with a patch, I don’t understand reverting an entire map because of a few problems (that aren’t even game breaking) and nostalgia bait.
I think this would be really cool. Imagine sneaking off, building an exit then sneaking back into the crowd and getting reds to escape. Or setting your own mini sentry ambush for the warden to walk into, would create some fun and interesting gameplay scenarios.
Changelog for July 2025
Per this suggestion:
Slightly adjusted the ruling on what to do with illegal LRs.
Per this suggestion:
Speedrunning has been given an official definition.
Since this is leaning towards a choice, the team proposes changing a line in the rules:
OLD: A LR must not break any of the rules like for example “mass freekill day” or “Warden must scream on mic.”
NEW: "Last Requests that break rules are forbidden, however wardens may choose to modify the LR...
A new line will be added in the terms/definitions segment of the rules:
"Speedrunning refers to moving more than two active traps ahead of the majority. It is not restricted by default."
Please give feedback on content and wording, this will be pushed on the 1st of August.
