the boss mainly got removed because after the rework , number of players liked the old heffe more because it was funny but also received a lot of complaints points about :

1- The rage is very annoying and long , most of the round you would be sitting doing nothing the boss rage almost every 10 seconds
2- Strikes was unfair it almost kills every class without any input effort not to mention you can hit the target across the map with it
3- Insane mobility , the super jump costed only 5% of rage compared to the amount of distance you jump it's overkill

i think st.heffe needed a nerf rather a rework , my suggestion : Old st.heffe with some changes
  • Slower rage formula ( Rage every 3000 hp lost )
  • 2 lifeloss instead of three
  • Reduce strike range to a reasonable distance
  • 3 Strike each deals 35 dmg with the stun , Stun duration is 2.5 seconds
  • Super jump cost 7% of rage , jump cooldown 3.5 or 4 seconds
  • Keep the taunt kill
There is another conception were suggested in the discord before i will include it below :

Scoob St.heffe Re-conception :
Rage no longer hard stuns people nor prays, merely says "ARR, MEN!" and places an aoe smite puddle that'll hurt people standing inside of it before detonating and hard stunning anyone who gets struck, say after 2.0s it'll strike; this system gives charges on the rage button and starts initially with 3 but can stack up to 5.
can be used at any distance.
st. heffe will be ubered for 4s initially and places a puddle at his location on rage that does the exact same thing as the charges.

Lifeloss: god's wrath
same system as the rework one but instead takes a ratio of the currently existing reds alive and then starts placing aoe thunder strikes on people at random on the map at any location, same as the rage's where it'll detonate after 2.0s whilst dealing damage in an aoe
(Note by scoob :there're no existing plugins that can do this, this is merely an idea suggestion.)

no idea if some of the points mentioned above are doable

It's a no for me unless there is as mentioned before, a system like simon says from tf2ware
 
old st heffe is actively hostile to gameplay and is effectively wheelchair unless you abuse his flight thingy, even with this its just not any less boring and annoying to fight

scoobs heffe is marginally better but rage seems a bit too redundant considering most players will just dodge it most of the time, that aside imo scoob should be working on smthin else honestly

just dont add him honestly
 
Not sure what's up with regurgitating old hales. Then why did we remove him to begin with? Why didn't we just vote to rework him instead?
I for my part will go with a simple no. I'm not trying to be a dick, but cmon people.
 
This honestly would have been better when there was a chance to rework him. Let the old bosses be gone for a longer while.

I don't find this as a point of argument, Because that's not a reason to not bring an old boss back.


Instead, He was removed as in "The boss had no playstyle that pleased the people" And Whatever the rework he had, People still complained.


Me personally? I love seeing people getting frustrated, And heffe was incredible in that, Especially the taunt kill period, Pray Child, For I the lord who stands before your eyes, Will Pass Judgement on your poor soul PAW taunt kill, Most hilarious boss, It was cheap, it was easy, But for those Who needs a rapid movement? or ff2 regular rapid stimulation? It was an eyesore, boring, and annoying.

Which is what most of the community are NOT looking for.

Reworks tried, Credits to scoob, I doubt this current scoob suggestion will fix him.
