I think this is a respectable position that Kron made us vote on in his previous suggestion. I already provided a simple explanation of how my restriction would prevent spam of the minigame. I figured brevity and simplicity would be a more convincing position to the people who consider Simon...
With Simon Says on panda you still have the right to clear orders and clear repeats. You don't have to follow an order until the warden finishes their statement.
I have another question related to Simon Says. Would any of you consider true or false a trick order minigame?
For it to pass "I'll allow it" would have to win a majority vote rather than a plurality, as the other 2 options are mostly similar.
You make great points for why I think it being LR only sucks. No inexperienced warden or blue knows how to do an ill-defined and underplayed minigame like Simon...
4 months ago, Kron made a suggestion for unrestricting Simon Says. A lot of people in that thread argued in favor of LR only. I personally find that to be the worst outcome for Simon Says, because now you're forcing whatever poor soul gets warden to try to do Simon Says involuntarily. I think...
I wouldn't mind this LR if it wasn't so loud. I'd at least prefer it to hunger games.
So if we get a suggestion to lower the volume I'd rather vote yes on that.
You can do Diner/Theatre in cell area under the current rules.
We also already have wardens who do the closest minigame to cells until 1 red remains. Things like casuarina russian roulette or knife pit arena.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind custom minigames in cell area, because to me "cell area" is...
Well that is something informative. Seems like most of the admins don't care for enforcing my idea.
To unpoison the well I'm referring to LRs that fall under this ruling: "If a custom LR is deemed unreasonable/embarrassing it can be denied by the Warden like for example “all day 360s jumping non...
After some off-forum discussion I've learned that my previous suggestion was too broad and confusing. Here's a discussion thread to hopefully remedy that confusion.
Me and few others think forcing warden in order to deny LR is egregious and should be reportable.
Currently there is no section in...
I'm constantly being told "intent matters" when talking about certain rulings. This felt like the least problematic wording with that in mind. If you wanna discuss "defining intention" please do that separately, it is a constant among many rules and is usually decided by admins within reports...
Within our current rules there's almost nothing related to forcing. The closest things are the rule about re-wardening and the "you have a maximum of 2 forces" message that appears when you've reached your limit.
My reasons for making this suggestion is that the server has been seeing a lot...
Simon says relies heavily on a fun warden. It being LR only is kind of the worst solution to the problem since most the time warden gets forced to do it unwillingly. So I get where you're coming from trying to make it a playable minigame. It should honestly either be completely unrestricted or...
