Declined [JB] Allow Jojo, Doomsday, VS Sentry, and Burger King Massacre to be done on last round (1 Viewer)

A rework of the suggestion I just closed. This time, it's only for Jojo (Lunapark), Doomsday (District), and VS Sentry (Underjail), and Burger King Massacre (Hopjb) rather than all LR-only minigames, including custom ones, to prevent confusion on what LRs would be allowed.

To be short with this one, all of this four minigames are ones built into their respective maps that can only be done if requested by a custom LR. All are fundamentally similar to Warday in some way:
- Doomsday is the most similar, in fact it basically is Warday but with BLUs as aliens and not being confined to a designed spot, and pickups across the map, and like Warday, doesn't end in an LR.
- Jojo is basically that but with one BLU slaughtering the REDs in an enclosed area a la VS Saxton Hale.
- VS Sentry has the REDs be slaughtered by sentries they are trying to destroy.
- Burger King Massacre is pretty much Warday in an enclosed area.

As such, I feel it wouldn't do the server any harm to allow these as an option for a last round minigame alongside Warday. Rules would be the same (it has to be under 2 minutes left of the map to be allowed to be done).

I am in the camp that thinks last day warday is a bad thing in any case. Blues will literally throw rounds to ensure a last day warday. I don't want to give them extra reasons to want to do that.

Let the playerbase that CLEARLY loves last day warday, do minigames that are literally exact copies of it for last day, (IE Doomsday, BK massacre,)

JoJo massacre and vs Sentry I can agree don't fit this criteria but the other two do.

The problem is there’s reds that can fuck off and rebel, the point of last day Warday is that it (usually) ends fast and isn’t a traditional round.

They aren’t valid substitutes because it doesn’t last the whole day, there’s crucial time/ man management that people specifically want to avoid.

-you vs 25 sentries should probably not be in that list because it delays the round by around 8 minutes due to the the elevstor getting stuck

-most of this just seems redundant imo, a warday is perfectly sufficient in place of a last round, so I don’t think we should allow those minigames just for the sake of it when a warday accomplishes the same

i dont want people to start spamming maps cause 'you can do that in the final 2 minutes of the round!' warday is already spammed everytime and making the blue team atleast 10 players, and no one even does normal warday lr cause why do that when you can just not get lr and then do last day warday.

and what krook said, theres always some people who just try their hardest to get a last day warday so i dont want people to do the same for shitty 25 sentries or bk massacre

If the issue is “people are gonna find ways to wait till the last minute to do xyz”, why havn’t we removed last day warday?

Personally I feel as if this is a crap suggestion since its forcing upon us 4 changes that i’d rather vote on individually rather than an all or nothing kinda deal. (Adding that 3rd option only splits the vote and is DEF not being added)

JoJo reference won’t be fun for the blue team. It’s just gonna be the warden forcing to become jojo themself and not allow other blues to do it

Vs Sentry is just not fun.

Doomsday and BK massacre are the closest to alternatives to warday.

Why not just have a server wide vote at the start of last round to settle it? If majority votes yes then it can be played, if majority votes no then it can't. I get that would cause issues, just an idea since this suggestion is getting very mixed votes. I like some of these lr only minigames, and it feel like they aren't played enough.

Why... It's like you're trying to force the suggestion to go one way or another. Should've let the vote continue as is and held a runoff if deemed nessecary.

The whole point of last day warday was to hast the round to the next map. If you start bringing these minigame wardays into it, reds can delay this.
What if a red runs away? BKM and doomdays require all reds in the minigames. It'll just cause unnecessary delay when you could of just done a regular warday.

Am I missing something here? Was the point of last day warday not the speed up the map change?

After some discussion with the team about this I’m going to withdraw this suggestion as we are all in agreement this will prove to be too complicated for our ruleset. Thanks to everyone who voted.
