Any QOL things you wish were in jailbreak, but haven't been coded (1 Viewer)

Hello, I am taking suggestions on some things that people would like added to see in jailbreak. (not current suggestions being worked on by berke). I am working on figuring out the language for plugins, anything, even stuff thats crazy is welcome. Just experimenting for now. I will come back to this thread in a month and start work on the 1-2 options with the most check mark reactions (if you put an x mark reaction it will nullify one check mark.) Because I work on something does not mean I will suggest it. I just want to have some practice before I tackle larger tasks.

Honestly, its been partially suggested but hasnt been made possible due to limitations but being able to set the timer to a certain amount of time left after lr is chosen. We've had to go rounds and rounds with this whole "slay reds after x amount of time" and its just a really nasty workaround (Sadly needed) to simply being able to set an actual in-game timer to 2 minutes after lr is given like other servers are able to.
 
give lr recipients (the exact moment & same round when they receive !givelr) the ability to /bring blues (not the warden(?)) to an area, limit use to like 1-2 per instance. /bringing blues to a spot which kills them can count as a rebelling action.

this might be a part of redux? i think wonderland has this? its good though i think.

What about starting a countdown of 5 seconds after LR is picked and blues opt in and out of being teleported to the warden with a 10s vote menu. The warden already has a variable in the current plugin.
 
imo there isnt a reason why a guard should opt out since the purpose is to consolidate the blue team together
 
Idk anything about plugins or coding so idk which of these if any are actually possible but here’s basically my list of jb grivences

Let reds airblast, let reds get consumables like mad milk, cleaver or jarate when picking up ammo. Let red demomen charge after touching ammo. Maybe even let red scouts double jump after getting ammo. The point being once a red is rebelling with ammo, all the normal impediments should be removed.

Also fix LGKA so freeday is actually removed when there’s one guard left, not when there’s one guard left and another player dies. Or better yet remove freeday once warden locks since at that point it’s either LGKA or freeday for everyone.

Fix aimnames plugin so it continues working after map change.

Fix the ghost rebeller effect glitch

Fix Eternal Reward (could be possible with use of a plugin?)

Round Timer changes to 2mins after Warden Locks ( I know the autoslay happens but at I imagine having a visualizer would be nice through the use of the timer)

Reds pyros should be able to airblast

A command that the warden can run that shares in team chat a randomly selected minigame (prob the basics that most maps have to offer so it isn't map-dependent) that the warden can choose from. Would just be a nice QOL feature for wardens who don't know what minigame to play
 
- A teleport function for admins that allows them to teleport REDs to the spot they are aiming their crosshair at, or to another RED if they are not alive at the moment, so that REDs who are respawned due to freekill or getting stuck in the ground don't have to trek back from cells to where they are supposed to be and waste time.
- The ability to extend the round timer by 1 or 2 minutes for admins if the round takes long enough to reach an LR winner (I say only admins as it might be too easily abuseable by regular wardens). War3Evo Jailbreak had a plugin for this so you might be able to find something like this with some searching.

So just a heads up, if I make these plugins I will most likely make them as modifications to redux. Why? There is no original source pawn available in our current plugin. What does that matter, we still have the code right? It basically means I cannot edit our plugin. So I will do my practice with the newer plugin. All I have to work with on tf2jail is configs.
 
while doing this I will set up redux to best meet our needs incase I suggest we add it. It all boils down to redux giving me the tools to modify it, and tf2jail not being easily modified.
 
I have found how to enable airblast, and how to allow scouts to double jump on gaining rebel status, and ammo pickup, just needs us to swap to redux if we want it to be easy
It can be done on Tf2Jail, but Id rather use redux due to its customizability. Also in redux, he kindly sets up coded in definitions for ammo pickup too, so we can rather than on rebelling do it on ammo pickup or health pickup.
 
Also, in redux, its not coded in, but we can make it so that freedays lose freeday on warden lock rather than on Lr being given or last guard. We can also add actions that strip freedays, with an example being triggering cells, or maybe clicking buttons in minigames.

This is already possible, Y'all dont have the permissions.
