Declined Restrict Buzz Killer From JB (2 Viewers)

Recently there has been a growing trend with certain subsets of players abusing the fly Engie voice lines and taunts to purposely drown out the warden's commands and prevent red from doing as in instructed due to not being able to hear the command, this has resulted in many free killings in just the past two-weeks I've actually been paying attention to the problem, I would like to propose the idea of a restriction on the buzz killer or a way to report said players who go out of their way to grief in this manner, while the players who do it are not always on when these small cliques of 2-3 players do get on it grinds the rest of the 28 other players experience to a halt.

maybe if people feel the need to go out of their way to grief, we wouldn't need a specific rule for one cosmetic, but alas people do so here we are.

correct it as just as loud but it's not the loudness that's the problem, it's the spamming of said taunts (like repeatedly starting and stopping the kazotsky) and the pitch, no one here is gunning to restrict taunting all together, what some people do want is the ability to actually hear commands instead of the 3 fly engies in the back of the cell the warden made us all go to before issuing commands. These players aren't normal players taunting while they afk freeze on the line, these are griefers who go out of their way to buy the cosmetics and taunts just to grief, Theres's intent behind the griefing vs just some random pyro using the loud piano taunt.

fly engies literally have been a staple of the server for years and people havent complained, let them have their fun.

Or maybe don't go out of your way to prevent other players from playing the game, you yourself are aware others can't hear yet repeatedly chose to do it over and over even after multiple wardens made you stop, this shows clear intent of preventing players from playing the game, where would you draw the line at griefing, because to me repeatedly taunting to prevent red from actually hearing falls under the definition of it.

i run voice_overdrive 2 and this has never been a problem. maybe you can up that a little bit if you find yourself dying to this (higher numbers dampen game volume wehn someone is using vc), i dont think ive seen a single person die because flies were too loud lol its a you issue for sure

there is NO other rule like this and thats for good reason, thats just dumb.

if your at the point where you have a keybind telling warden to restrict taunts and make a poll, then you might need to get off for the night man

I voted yes because I thought this was funny but I didn’t realize that this is an actual thing you can do and now I can’t change my vote.

Anyway, fly engines are a bit annoying but I don’t really think we need this. At all. Idk man it’s just not really that big a deal and people can do what they want.

This is such a non-issue. A mod can be used to remove it, or console commands. The fly engies have been a staple of the server for quite some time now. 3-4 years at most maybe more. I've hardly seen anyone complain about the fly engies on a major scale or anything where it requires needing a vote to remove it. It's a fun little gimmick that players latch onto to make themselves feel included and I'm all for it. Besides you could always just restrict taunting. (although be warned...doing so may cause a fail round)

yeah this whole poll just screams anti fun, theres so many solutions if you don't want to hear the fly voice lines. Fly engies have been around on panda servers forever, no ones gonna vote yes to ban them just cause your mad.
