Considering you're a regular, you most likely saw my many warnings to some players that they should switch to spectator if they need to go AFK, and yet you ignored them. From what I've seen, other players also warned you for this. I think the ban was totally justified, you'll just have to wait it out.

From this point onward, always type /halenext to check your place in the queue, and don't go AFK before your hale round or this will happen again.

In the meantime, make yourself familiar with the VSH rules.
