Hello, I've noticed that I have been banned from panda servers for doxxing but I don't understand why.

He left some videos which were public on his YouTube channel, which contained personal information. By definition, doxxing means acquiring private information through confidential or unauthorized means. It was publicly available on his YouTube channel until he made his videos private.

He uses his last name as his PC name, which reveals his last name. It’s really easy to find his last name if you just look through his older posts.

The person in question was trying to expose Cream Tea on the Skial forums, they posted a video from their Youtube Channel and I decided to look at some of their other videos and came across their real name I noticed that he has personal information, such as his email and other details, visible in some of his videos on YouTube. I mentioned his name because I thought it would help warn him to be aware that his identity might be out everywhere.
I am aware that after re-visiting his channel again he seems to have unlisted or deleted the videos in question

you didnt get my point as it seems.

you justify your action based on him apparently exposing cream tea on the skial forums so you thought its a good idea to simply call out people by their real name on the servers?
it would've been rather smarter to report him than calling him out, imo Fredo's ban is valid.

sounds to me like some bad kind of revenge of a skial problem brought suddenly into panda for whatever reason.

The person in question realised that their information was posted publicly by themselves which is a mistake on their behalf so they've removed the videos like you said. It was not their intent for others to know their name or anything else about them.
Going out of your way to gather that information and use it against them while on our servers is weaponised harassment. You know that by referring them by their real name was going to hurt / scare them in the same terms what a real doxxing would happen. They don't want their real life information plastered in public servers all because they revealed a discord server chatlog which we are not responsible to act on.

You have a point that it's not strictly the terms of what doxxing is. The information however was not intended to be public and has been revoked, so there is no need to continue harassing that individual as we have also seen it happen on another server.

Also @Cream Tea you have been warned not to contribute outside of suggesting your own maps due to your behaviour on the forums + perm banned on panda. Please respect that.

I do believe the ban is valid.
For now i'm going to decline this.
Right now it's too early for an unban.
Appeal in two month and i may consider giving you second chance.
