If a warden falls to death, or dies due to environment not caused by a red, does that count as warden slaying themselves? If so, can a BLU rewarden?

By default no, the only reason i could think of that allows rewardening is if warden suicide with intent, which is basically the same thing as killbinding.

If they die to the environment blues cannot rewarden

You can only rewarden if warden was teamkilled, disconnects, or killbinds.
