Your name and/or nickname: Misery, or Matt if you prefer.
Your age: 18
Who gave you permission to apply?: N/A
Your Steam32 ID: STEAM_0:1:58898602
Your general online times and your timezone: Out of 5/7 days, I'll be online from 8 am-12:30 pm or 9:00 pm-2:00 am. On the two days that I have off of work, I'll be online mostly all day. My timezone is Central.
Which of our servers do you usually play on and wish to apply for? Would you visit a broader range of servers in case of a report?: I very mainly play dodgeball and that is what I would like to be an admin on, but I occasionally play freak fortress. I would be willing to visit other servers if needed, it would give a good reason to expand what I play.
Do you have a microphone?: Yes, but I rarely have anything to say.
Your previous experience as Admin or Moderator: I have not been an admin of any source games, but I have experience in management and have been an admin on minecraft servers years ago.
Do you have experience with administrating with SourceMod?: No, but I would more than love to learn.
Why should we choose you to be part of our team?: Most of my freetime goes towards playing TF2, with dodgeball being the server I rack up the most time on. I understand how to enforce rules in a friendly way and know how to resolve conflicts. I don't like to force out punishment unless needed and I try to work with people the best I can. I've been on the Dodgeball server for more than a year now I believe, and have wanted to apply for a long time but didn't have a computer at the time that was great enough to support TF2 or other programs well.
Finally, please briefly explain how you would do your job: I see banning/kicking as the last option. If someone is stealing, the simplest method to stopping it is to take away their weapons, no slaying needed. If someone is micspamming, they get warned, and then muted if it persists. I don't see banning necessary unless they are breaking the rules excessively and just asking for it. If someone steals a rocket to save their own life, or if they just accidentally do it once or twice, then I don't feel like action is necessary. Overall, I would be very lax about how I approach things and wouldn't want to make people feel uncomfortable with a strict attitude. The best admins to play with are the ones that know how to understand and mediate.
