Hello people of Panda, my friend Tᴜʀᴛʟᴇ has been working on and off to create a rocket jumping simulator within the Godot engine.
There is now a public demo available on Itch for everyone to try out, which you can find in the link below.
Please do take note, this is not the Source engine, so things don't exactly work the same way as TF2.
This is still in development, so of course things are subject to change.
Some highlights before you jump in -
The creator can be found here :
Feedback and play testing is welcome!
The Linux build is untested AFAIK, so errors are to be expected.
Are you good with Blender? Are you a good mapper?
Are you into sound design? Music creation?
Turtle is looking for any help with the overall project.
If you have some talent in these areas, definitely give him a shout.

There is no crouch
Airspeed and aircontrol are more similar to surfing, some ramp strafing might be wacky
Pogos work similar to TF2
Speedshots are a little funny
Bounces have no height requirements
Edgebugs are possible
- WASD - Move
- Space - Jump
- Left Click - Shoot
- R - Load Auto Checkpoint
- Control + R - Restart Level
- F1 - Save Manual Checkpoint
- F4 - Load Manual Checkpoint
- F5 - Reload Current Map (Useful when making custom maps)
Reddit - Dive into anything
