Hey there, guess who? Sorry about this being the same issue, forgot to switch my Wi-Fi a few years back and then forgot I had this ban. Turns out I still got this existing ban back from when I was younger and still using an iPhone hotspot to play tf2, luckily now I got good net so I don't believe false alarms like this should happen anymore. Still don't got a VPN or alt account or any of that biz, but if I do get a VPN I'll refrain from going here just to avoid SourceSleuth's wrath. Is the dupe account ban also triggered by namechanges or just by vpn activity? Just wanna know for future reference as I go by a diff name on steam now, happy trails and happy holidays to you all!

Duplicate account bans are not triggered by name changes. They only go by IP.
Just like last time, this ban is most likely related to the usage of mobile internet services.
Ban has been lifted.
