As a matter of fact, it is a mistake.
Look at it this way, is it a mistake to type "mis-take"? Yes, it is. However, "miss-take" isn't wrong, yet it refers to something else.
So saying "Dive into liquid physics !" is wrong, it has nothing to do with style. (or like saying "whay" lel)*
It's a common mistake.

Sure, my birth happens every day apparently!
Or do you mean the birth of ice? Because according to the principle of mass conservation, for any system closed to all transfers of matter and energy (both of which have mass), the mass of the system must remain constant over time, as system mass cannot change quantity if it is not added or removed.
Therefore, it is impossible to create (give birth to) mass; thus water/ice.
