Well if you wish for the full story, then read below.

So, I was on the shoutbox like every other day and a player called "d33n". He asked why the Panda servers aren't up in which I responded with "Panda is closing " and "There will be a new community by the name of Koala Gaming Patrol (idk dont ask me)". This is probably why I got banned in the first place for advertising and saying that Panda was closing. During this I was actually joking and never intended it to be taken seriously.
I was hoping to be unbanned because this was a joke made to mess with a player and it was never actual a serious conversation.

TL;DR > I was joking with a player, "advertised" a fake community and also saying Panda is closing which led to my ban.

Kevin didn't make an annoucement for this, but apparently these appeals and applications are automatically set to pending as they are created.
