A ton of you guys have unique names, and I'm curious to know..

Did you go by any other names? If so, what and why?
How did you, or someone else, come up with your name?
What made you decide to keep your current name?

I'll start off first!

I was previously known as Kolt in 2015. I've always had a thing for guns, and as you may know, a colt is a revolver. As of now, I go by Cryptic, or Crypt for short. I'm not gonna lie, I had some help from Google. I googled "cool sounding names", and Cryptic was on the list. I not only liked the sound of it, but it resembled my personality in a sense. I've been going by my nickname, Crypt, because it's shorter and easier to pronounce. The amount of idiots, who used to stutter and pronounce my name as "Cry-ptic" was too damn high. I'm thinking of changing my name to something more unique, but I'm not sure yet.

My name was originally a play on the Flying Dutchman. One of the first times I joined a community server was when I joined server number #06. My name was 'Stabbin' Dutchman' I believe. Later I add ' | Red Panda' because a bunch of community members back then had some sort of panda in their name. If you look at my first admin application in 2013 you can see I was still rocking that whilst applying. That later got shortened to just Stabbin' and I eventually lost the apostrophe because it looked cleaner.

A friend and I were goofing around talking about names. Then I decided to divide my real name into swedish words then translate them to english and the result was Night a scythe. My friend laughed and said it sounded kinda like looney tunes and quack attack. And i just stayed with it.

There's not really a story behind my name. I just wanted something simple but cool and this is the first thing I came up with.

Oh shit. My name "Nitro4D" was first created in 2004 on my first RuneScape account :^). And I used it ever since. Short story, I know :^)

My original name was Lester the Molester. You're free to laugh and roast me as much as you want, I'm laughing right now and thinking how much of a retard I was :^(

At one point I said I really need to change my name, and the first meme roast me more pls that popped into my head was Noot Noot. Yeah laugh more if you want, I don't mind.

My friend told me it was much better, and that I should stick with it. And evidently I did.

Also I find it quite funny when people call me 'poop poop' and 'noob noob' even though I'm not a noob ): so I just left this and couldn't and probably won't be bothered to change it B^)

 

[Husky]

So I was previously known as Husky and still am on the forums. I got that name due to my favourite animal being a dog and the breed being a Husky in general. I stuck with that throughout my time here in-game and on the forums. I had then left the community and went through a 'phase' which involved me joining a lot of communities and just name changing in general. My first name change i think was to "iFEDaLlama" and I stuck with that for a while. I then had a lot of other names which i'm not gonna talk about. I eventually got tired of the name changing and so I made a final name change in which I would randomly press buttons, see what sounded cool and looked unique and I came out with "zannc". I then just added the X and <3's to my name which ended up as ✘♥zannc♥✘. I stayed with this cause I just honestly couldn't bother think about making a new name and then later it just grew on me.

tried to register in to a finnish 2d hockey game "kiekko.tk" back in late 2004, was a pleb figuring out names so just typed in my initials A and L and hit enter, the game filled me up with al_pert15 as suggestion which I took, then during the years I kind of just rinsed off the extra shit from it and this is what I've been using from like 2006-07

I was about 11-12 years old when I started highschool. During this time you basically find people to stick with through it and I ended up being in a big girl only group. Nerdy like as we did computer club and stuff. Anyways in the group was a girl called Tash. As any awkward 11-12 year old we'd basically still be in that 'playing' phase so I would run about and say weird things. So she called me a 'Mad-act', I'm absolutely insane and I...act it?

Present times, I'm always mad at something so it suits me

This name and profile picture has been on the account since it has been created (pretty sure it was made 12 years ago). The account was made by my older brother who passed it on to me as he quit gaming. I use it just keep it as he left it and to remember him. So no real thought process on how I came up with it, since i didn't make it.

I was first know as terminus here My nick was born in 2011 for game Starcraft I didn't have idea for nick so I chosed roman god
and in 2016 at halloween I chosed Hans das Gas cuz I live near auschwitz (no offesne to jews) and I love history

World of Warcraft, 2006, I had a pet I named Wolfgang for god knows what reason. People seemed to like my pet more than they did me...so we switched places.

[EvoWarrior5]

Runescape over a decade ago, I needed a nickname and EvolutionWarrior5 sounded good. Evolution because I was only going to get better, Warrior because warriors are awesome, and 5 was/is my favourite number. But it didn't fit so I had to shorten it. When I needed a name for a forum a few years later I stuck with it, and it's been this ever since. Nowadays the Evo doesn't really mean anything though, it's just what it is.

[Lighty]

First was called Derp, Dr. Derp and Lightning, for who knows why to be honest, didn't wanna use my real name anywhere. later on from 2013 to 2015, was using ThePyroOverlord from tr_walkway, since I didn't know what name to have at the time and I played pyro quite a bit, later then changed it to UηƘη0ωƝ because I don't know. Someone called me Lighty due to it being a cuter and shorter way of writing my at the time name Lightning and I've stuck to that name for years now since I kinda like it. There is a lot more to how I got the name Lighty but I don't want to talk about it...

My mum always used to call me a 'little monster' like most parents say, but that nickname just stuck with me for some reason...
