SourceBans Ban URL: Panda Community SourceBans

Name of your Banned Steam Account: Adapt / RewinD

Steam ID:STEAM_0:0:68068530

Date and Time of the Ban: 17/02/17 20:54

Reason about the Ban: My friend was hacking around my house on his laptop then told me to join to see what would happen but got banned instantly when I wouldn't hack on my account which has a lot of items and is my main and I want to play this server again.

Admin that Banned you: alperrt

Why should you receive a unban for the ban / gag / mute: I thinks its unfair I got banned for my friend being a hacker, which Is upsetting since I want to play this server and really enjoy it. I want a second chance, you might not believe me but check both our accounts u can see he just made it and I've played mine a lot and wouldn't dare hack on it. You can check I'm not using any other software that would give me a advantage over other players and just want to play again.

Thanks in advance, I might change my name back to RewinD if you are wondering. :)

So your friend and you have the same name, what a coincidence!!

No he has his own name, he just told me to join with his name and profile picture to see what they would do and i got banned

Honestly, it's your fault to begin with, to allow your "friend" to cheat at your house. Also, I do have a hard time believing this story.

I hate to burst the bubble but the first ban was made by console. With no evidence, what do we do when we have no evidence?

Although he admits to his friend hacking...Which really was a big mistake as it does ponder the question of hm, maybe something fishy is actually going on.

But without proof, we're kinda sitting ducks.

Isn't that the oldest excuse in the book?
"It was not me but my <little brother/sister/dog/friend/uncle/whatever>
Somebody was hacking from his PC / IP
STEAM_0:0:203664045 is also VAC banned

I detest hackers and cheaters. I don't buy this story.
It's not my call but admins, please don't get soft with hackers and connected accounts/IPs.

If he is really banned because of a friend then he can thank him for that. He should have known better.
But like I wrote before, I don't buy it in the first place.

Cheers
Booooom

It's really hard to trigger that automatic ban without an actual cheat as bhopping consistently (0 ticks in between + and -jump), the SMAC algorithm waits for multiple perfect bhops until it bans. And then again, the reporter already admitted his so called friend hacked. So in my opinion we're not s

Even if it's difficult to trigger we don't really have the proof that the console did a correct positive or a false positive.

I'm not like trying to ruin things here but we've kinda done this since people have been claiming they didn't do it with 'were is the proof? you're going to trust the console?"

Wait he has a VAC? then why is he even appealing?

The account of his "hacking friend" is VAC banned.
So no question about that somebody hacked from his PC/IP

The only question is now if you guys think he is innocent and his other (not VAC banned) account should be unbanned here.

It's pretty clear and I'm not sure why it's 'oh I dunno' case. He has a vac banned account linked to his main account. It shares the same IP and even name.

Come on guys. No wonder I was getting confused.

With the obvious proof being a VAC ban in place, and everything else being against your favor in every way possible, this appeal is declined.
