Declined [FF2] Add Market Gardener "set" to Demoman (1 Viewer)

A simple suggestion where Red Demoman recieves a certain playstyle like Soldier has.

• Scottish Handshake becomes the market gardener with static 1000 damage.
• Bootlegger becomes Gunboats sharing same statistics as soldier.

Pros:
-Satisfies the need for a "challenge" for 8 people max.

Cons:
-Having to look up twice as much (including looking out for Trolldiers);
-Having to chase twice as many people (including Trolldiers);
-Probably not being able to cap the point (if there are more than 2 Jumping Demos and or Trolldiers, thus having to chase after them F o r e v e r);
-Literally spending more time in air than on ground at that point


Hopefully, whoever views this thread makes a rational decision. I know I did.

The fact that this is a point of contention... really now?
Solid no.

Soldier should remain the only class to 'market garden' - this shouldn't extend to other classes.

But to be fr, this is just going to be obnoxious, trolldiers and spies are already annoying to go against. I've played on a server with a similar MG demoman formula, it was absolute hell and i would NEVER want to experience something like that ever again.

I think demoman should stick to his own stuff rather than pretending to be another class.
No point in doing this when you have soldier being the same exact thing.

I've seen great divides like with deathrun players being divided between platforming maps ("parkour maps"), ff2 players on the topic of mobility hales, and the general competitive community on what bugs or weapons should or shouldn't be banned, the tempus jumping community whether certain players should have all of their records wiped for cheating yet having legitimacy, but this might take the cake.
