Why should you receive a unban for the ban / gag / mute / teamban:
I have been playing on this account for the past 5-6 years and had no issues connecting to panda servers, but I was left confused when I noticed this ban on me today joining a mge server. I have connected to this server with another account on the same device and used an older pc to connect to the server with this account, so I’m not sure what triggered the ban to only occur now. I have never received any bans or punishment from any servers so I do hope this ban gets resolved. Thank you so much!

I see you have connected from a university network. One of the issues with a public network is other user's can use this IP and not everyone is going to behave.

I see you also mention you have another account. Can you also give the steamID for this account?

Can you explain your current real life situation? Mainly if you are in university and if , you using this public wifi to play TF2, is it going to be a regular occurrence? It'll take me a while to clear up you see so if it's a one off I won't have to do that and just tell you to not connect to that wifi again. If not even if I do clean up this IP there's no stopping someone else getting banned again with this IP and the process happens all over again, but if there's no choice on your end we'll just have to do it.

I didn't realize it was the university network that triggered the ban and thought my other account was the only reason, so it could've been just other people joining the server using the same wifi as me. This is my other account: STEAM_0:1:521497866.
I have recently transferred here and I'm living on campus right now so this is the only internet access I have. Are there any accounts using this IP that are banned recently (besides accounts banned for using the same IP like mine rn)? This is totally by chance but in the case where all the accounts from the university are good up until this point then I think it is safe to say I'm not trying to dodge any punishments... if this is true then only steam accounts counting onwards from the date of my ban would need monitoring for duplicate account behaviors, and my steam account can be spared ;=;
I'm also playing on a new laptop I bought for university and played on an older pc with this account too.

According to what you said this isn't a choice for you, so I've cleared up the IP and your account ban.
Last instance was in 2019 with this IP so I'd say it's safe. You should be fine from here out, but if it happens again as you connect via the university network feel free to add me and we'll see if we can solve it faster for you.
