Why does the Hale server run Vsh and not ff2 ? (1 Viewer)

Hi, i wanted to ask, why the saxton hale server runs the older version (versus saxton hale) and not the newer version ( Freak Fortress 2 ), wich has a lot more bosses (and allows you to toggle if you want to become a boss or not) ? Is it just to difficult/hard to update the server or is it just because more players like to play the older version ?

I thought it's just an updated version ? I mean, the gameplay is the same and the hale boss stll exists.
