- Which of our servers do you usually play on and wish to apply for? Would you visit a broader range of servers in case of a report? - I'm applying for the MGE servers (#07 and #23), those are the ones I play every day in. I would visit a different server should there be a report for a player but only if it were within my qualities of judgement, and not a gamemode-specific rule break that I am not familiar with.
- Do you have a microphone? (This is a minimum requirement for Jailbreak admins) - Yes
- Your previous experience as Admin or Moderator - Gamewise, I am an organiser of 2 different seasonal ultiduo tournaments, which means moderating and admining 2 discords with 300+ people each, organising the sign-up process, prize pool, casting, brackets, applying the rules to each individual player and catching cheaters early on before the beginning of each tournament. Somehow I've managed to do that successfully for 4 seasons now.
Serverwise, I have been an Admin in several servers in the game I've previously specialised in, Half-Life, and took care of their forums for about half a year before I quit the game. Since the only community servers I play on are the Panda MGE servers, I haven't sent any admin applications anywhere in tf2.
- Do you have experience with administrating with SourceMod? - Barely, I am absolutely confident I can learn the basics in a day shall that be requested.
- Why should we choose you to be part of our team? - The MGE servers are only regulated by a single admin that is Imulion, but he plays way more rarely than I do. Furthermore, players break the rules way too often including the ELO boosting and silent removing, both of those problems that have arised recently in the Suggestions subforum. Additionally, I've seen how the North American's most famous MGE server (that has constant 24/24 players throughout the night) is regulated, and I can put into practice the experience I've gained from there.
- Finally, please briefly explain how you would do your job, e.g. a general overview of your policies and punishments. - One thing that is ubiquitous among all MGE servers is their players' toxicity. Players that express incredibly derogatory terms and insults will be punished accordingly - for obvious reasons. Second thing that is well known around the MGE servers in Europe specifically, is the ability for players to abuse the silent remove exploit. Should that exploit not be fixed in due time, players that make use of this mgemod plugin flaw should, in my opinion, have their ELO reset back to the default number. In addition, players who use alt accounts to boost their ELO number shall meet the same punishment, if not harsher for Duplicate account.
There have been quite a number of cheaters that have come and gone in the Panda MGE servers and unfortunately an admin hasn't been present at the time. There currently is a well known cheater among the competitive community that still plays in the MGE servers, but staff currently cannot take any measures against him because he is only online when they are not. (Player in question is morda https://gameme.panda-community.com/playerinfo/977150) I believe my experience from Half-Life and Adrenaline Gamer is of great value when it comes to catching cheaters since it is much harder to catch one there, and I have been part of the anti-cheat staff in community servers there for quite a long time.
