Since we do not allow signs that show any pornographic material or anything offensive, the ability to sell/ promote them shouldn't be allowed either. If someone does sell them they end up promoting rulebreaking which can cause arguments between people. Poll closes in 7 days.

I mean this definitely makes alot of sense especially because some signs are more adult then others. They could and are on occasion being sold to children and teens under 18 yrs of age. This hentai sign situation has become a pretty big deal on trade recently with people breaking the "Naughty Sign" rule more then ever before. Also, I agree with you that it stirs trouble as well in various ways and overall causes unnecessary problems and arguments on the server.

I agree with this.

Gold makes a point. Doesn't make a lot of sense if NSFW, hentai, porn, ect objectors arent allowed but selling them is. Kinda just bypassing that rule in a certain way.

Hera is also right. Some days I've been on, there have been arguments about this which has caused pointless fighting. While it may be kind of rare, when it happens, it's a pain to put up with (sometimes even cringe).

Adding this rule would make sense and make things a bit easier to handle should the situation come.

I think adverting them shouldn't be allowed in comms or chat BUT trading them without advert (another trade brought it up in the trade window or something) shouldn't carry punishment (would prolly be a pain to manage anyways lol).

So, does this affects to those wannabe lawn ones too? I mean, those, where girls are just showing their body without seeing any genitals or so. This would be so hard to follow, since normal "sexy" picture can be to other "pornographic" picture.

c) Inappropriate personal content
Publicly visible content within sprays or avatars that is deemed sexual, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate, is forbidden.

Honestly I'm not against adding the rule to be more specific in terms of what's allowed and what's not, but in general like anything I feel like it all falls back to the interpretation when enforcing the rule. I mean if we're talking about trading and promoting NSFW products ( Objector, "Artwork"/ Avatar, YouTube thumbnail or anything applicable that is deemed as "art") then wouldn't that essentially be the same as "showing off" an NSFW spray/objector and in some case inappropriate names and avatars and in hindsight should be "forbidden" if it's inappopriate and deemed NSFW as stated by the rules.

In all honesty though I don't know about you, but looking through an admin's point of view/someone enforcing the rules on the server I don't see anyone who would actively say that they spend a large amount of time look at people's avatar and name(s) throughout their time playing on the server, surveying people's backpack items (primarily if they have the objector equipped and if it's NSFW or not and if their inventory isn't private), and watching stalking players if they spray an NSFW spray or you know manual spray everyone's spray in the corner of the map which admins can totally not do. On very rare occasions did I actually have to step in for an inappropriate avatar or username ( besides those with the no no "n word"), for the most part it was just a simple warning->slap-> and kick whenever someone had an inappropriate spray or objector and if they continued then spray ban easy as that. The most I see is people being reported for NSFW sprays and objectors, if we added this if there was a scenario then all I would see is people reporting if you advertise NSFW content.

Addressing the whole point of trading and exchanging said products and services it would hurt a niche market, sure it would deter those kind of advertising from appearing in chat and if they continue they would be blatantly breaking the established rule. Similar to being warned to "not spray your spray" or "unequip your object" it's a temporary fix (since they still "have it") as is since we can't control what people use for their name/avatar/spray/objector, but we can just warn them that deter them from showing that kind of content on the server. I don't see it being too impactful in that trading aspect portion and if they do decide to trade for those kind of things or trade those things you can just do it on your own accord ( and not use the objector if you do end up buying on while on the server/for use on the server).

I have to agree with zero, hera and gold. Although anyone could look up hentai, porn in google, i feel its wrong for people to join the servers and sell porn, mainly because there's a lot of kids and teens under the age of 18. Also people are saying it's a "Business" for them so they boost the prices of these signs to get more profit, which leads into arguments with people in the server and players calling the "Business Man" a scammer. But agreeing with zero, adding this rule in place will make things easier and potentially less toxic to other if they weren't allowed to sell hentai signs.

Hello there,

From my point of view. Surely prohibiting the sale of signs undermines what the server is about. A small change to the wording of the rule would make a huge difference. Making it a rule that it is against the rule to advertise the sale of pornographic or "lol" signs is not allowed in public chat. I don't agree with prohibiting the sale completely. Surely if a person advertises, "selling a wide variety of objector signs" for example and a person trades the seller and chooses to buy a pornographic sign discussed in the private trade window that is 2 consenting users exposing themselves to the sign.

Thats all I have to say. :)

So, I agree with the censoring of content such as hentai and such because of the mostly young audiences on the server and such, but the idea that you can restrict people selling them is kind of hard to regulate. Not to mention it’s also weird to prohibit adverting it in chat. I mean what would be the actual reason? Are you gonna mute them for saying the word hentai or porn, because that’s literally all they are doing up to that point? The way I see it, if they aren’t displaying their signs or any content containing that stuff, then why would it matter? If they have the sign out or something else like that, then sure, but if this is really the way you want to go with enforcing these types of rules, you might as well try “You can’t have anything even close to hentai or porn in your bp when you join this server!!”. But back to the actual suggestion, I think it would be strenuous on the admins to moderate this in chat, it doesn’t make much sense to further alter the rule we have now on the signs and complicate things if it is working just fine. You just can’t restrict what can be bought and sold in a trade server. Just keep things the way they are, admins are supposed to be looking out for racism, cheating, etc., not acting like the horny police.
