Name of Banned Account: tea ❀
Steam ID 32: STEAM_0:0:176800473
Date and Time of Ban: 2018-04-30 17:38:49
Reason about the ban: Player is a reported scammer
Admin that banned you: I am not sure. It's been years
I believe I should be unbanned as I am completely innocent, I have a steam support ticket which will back up my claim, but on Feb 4th, 2018, Steam confirmed my account was compromised by an unauthorized user, I contacted Steam on Feb 6th, 2018 requesting the account be restored to me, A support agent restored the account to me on Feb 7th, 2018 after I successfully verified that I was the owner. When I got my account back, I had lost all my items in TF2 and I was now marked as a scammer, being very discouraged I took a prolonged break from TF2, I was putting more focus into Overwatch so I wasn't playing as much, I wasn't really sure how to prove my innocence on steam rep, I fell for a scam as a dumb 15 year old and I was still a dumb 15 year old who didn't know how to make a case for myself so I gave up for a while. A few months later in April, I tried to hop on TF2 and join a community server which is your alls community. I got banned on the spot I believe for my scammer tag, I again tried to appeal on steamrep but didn't have any evidence still. I take another break from TF2 until 2019, where on May 24th, I received a source ban from FirePowered Gaming after entering one of their servers for the same reason. At this point I asked for help, my friend suggested I send a steam support ticket, which is what I mentioned above and they proved that I was not in control of my account during that time. I managed to get into dms with one of the steamrep admins, he'd been overseeing most of my failed appeals and we talked on discord so I could screenshare that the steam support ticket was actually mine. His name at the time was Tio Jose das Vacas, I am unsure if he still holds a position in steamrep. but I can provide my dm with him. He approved my appeal finally and I haven't been marked as a scammer on steam rep since 2019. The reason I haven't tried to make an appeal to you all or firepowered is for a few reasons, I didn't know the source bans were visible when you looked up my username on steamhistory.net, I didn't think to ever get appealed from you all as I don't play community servers anymore, and I was still focused more on Overwatch. But as I've made my return to TF2 back in 2023, I've recently had someone bring my source bans into question, not buying my story, so I think now would be a good time to try and get those cleared up. If I was a true scammer, I wouldn't have gotten my scammer tag removed from steamrep but I did. And if even this isn't enough, just the idea that this took place 6 years ago should at least show that I haven't even attempted any kind of scam as I've kept my name cleared.
