I am in the Central Standard Timezone, but no I am not from Texas.
Generally I am online from about 10p.m CST to roughly 4a.m CST.
These times are fairly consistent, and I am often available a little before and after the specified time.

What Would You Say Makes You a Suitable Candidate?

I am both well versed in the rules, and have a sizable backlog of reports.
In terms of experience, education, and etiquette, I bring a fair bit to the table.

As cool as it would be to reiterate my prior application from a few months back, I'll keep things short and shrimple this time.
The vibe of Panda is why week after week I see BW and WL players come to our server.
We keep things chill, and our Admin Team is a large part of that prosperity.
Warnings ought to come before punishments whenever possible.
In the advent of punishments being needed, I have the recording tools necessary for reports.

I like this community and want to become a positive force for the player base.

Alting and or Hacking is a perma.

NSFW Sprays/Objectors/Weapon Names will be given a warning. If no change is made then a server kick.
If they rejoin without change, then a perma spray ban for sprays, or a temp ban a la my Bans/Comms section for Weapons/Profiles.

No mic on blu will be handled with a warning and corresponding team-switch.
Mic problems happen, but if they continue to join blu without a mic they will receive a teamban a la my Teambans section.

Closing Comments

Surprisingly not all too much has changed with lil' ole me.
The prior application was only a few months prior, and nothing earth-shattered has occurred since then.
Like I said at the top, I figured I'd throw my hat into the ring once more.
My last application was met with much positive feedback from many of the community members, so here I am just for them.
Rather confident I haven't missed anything this time, but hey if I had, I'm right here.
I tried to keep it shrimple this time, but I know it was plenty of reading regardless.
Also yes, I found out how to change text colors.

Sessions are fine although I don't particularly notice you doing anything substantial. My main grievance is your lack of reports. I want to see you make some reports whenever there isn't an admin on to handle any given scenario, It proves to us on the admin team that you fully understand our rules and what is/isn't a rulebreak. I'll stick Neutral here. get some reports in and don't be surprised if I change my verdict in the future.

By backlog of reports, I am referring to my reports made HERE on the forums.

What we have here pound for pound is an MFK.
One of the Reds affirms that they cannot be killed, which is now true as the warden died and it has become a freeday.
Whether or not Firegears heard/acknowledged this is irrelevant. Three Reds were freekilled.
Either the Blu did not know better and MFK'd meaning they did not read the rules, or they knew what they were doing and knowingly MFK'd.
Normally I am rather lax and prefer warnings, but as I stated in my application I have zero tolerance for MFKs.
This would be a perma ban.

Clip Two
This one seems like an instance I could handle in a more lax way.
Isolated, I believe a warning suffices.
Warn the warden no forcing freedays, let the round playout, and if it happens again, then teamban the warden per the stacking ladder.
I do see the person recording seems to have expected this outcome, implying they have caused failrounds/freedays prior, but by itself the singular instance ought to be resolved with a simple warning.

So heres where i am at,

You have a lot of potential and you have a good head on your shoulders and you have the experience to back it up. I really dont have any issues with who you are interpersonally connected with on the server as long as you don't put yourself in a position where it would pose as a problem. Looking back at your prievious app, i was pulling for you considerably but you really messed up with that Human situation and it still bugs me to this day. However, I am hoping that you've learned from that conversation and it wont be a repeated problem.

Your app is really well made, i love the format but the color format really bugs me with the forums on dark mode but thats nitpicky and don't hold it against you.

I was ready to support your previous application but you really let me down with the human situation. I think you still have a solid shot but i need to see you continuing to work on your proffessionalism and keeping yourself out of trouble.

Neutral for now, willing to change my vote pertaining to how you act during your app process.

Saying that, I believe your behavior displayed in this report is just downright terrible.

You win LR and decide to choose mass trivia surrounding a subject that consisted of an online MMORPG that was popular in the mid 2000s which is fair to say that only you had extensive knowledge of. Really I just get vibes that your entire purpose of that lr was being able to kill a high volume of reds and just build frustration amongst the reds which is not the type of gameplay I like to see especially from applicants.

On top of it you completely mismanaged that whole situation in jeopardy and didn't stop to think about what you were doing and attempting to choose literally any other recourse. Not to mention that the way you were talking to people was extremely immature and inappropriate. It is an unfortunate circumstance that the admin on did not intervene but they will be coached on what to do next time. (Mistakes happen!)

The reason mainly why your appeal was accepted was because as a team we failed to intervene and you were not given a clear warning on what you were doing wrong and we should've reviewed your report in the eyes of a regular player and not as a applicant. However I still believe that what you did was a massive blunder and doesn't inspire any confidence.

You are welcome to reply if you disagree, but my current standing is that I don't think you are ready as of now.

Can see that angle and agree.
The only addendum I would add is that the LR was done in trivia, as seen in the clips.
It was a custom LR done mostly for fun. Most people had no clue what the answers were, so the playing field was even.
As to not delay, hints were dropped for questions, and I was under the impression most people has a small bit of fun with the LR.

However, as stated in the ban request, I now see the error of this LR from a fundamental level, and will not disagree with that.
I absolutely agree that this is a lesson learned, and apologize.

As you've said yourself, mistakes happen and I will own up to them.

Competition is fierce for this application cycle, and any and all small errors will be taken into account.
However, I maintain my claim as a valid Admin applicant for all the reasons stated in my initial application.

Rather than to allow this Application to remain for purely posterity's sake, I would like to address concerns discussed above.

First and foremost, the elephant in the room.
There is no denying the situation reflects poorly on all involved.
A mistake was made, and of that I will not deny. Mistakes do occur, and how we respond to said mistakes show the true mettle of one's character.

My first reaction was to fully read and analyze the report made on me, just as I would with the clips given to me above.
My conclusion is that a warning would have sufficed.
Given I disagreed with the verdict, I reached out to the Admin that filled the report.
They and I discussed the reasons and matters for the report, and professionally gathered and exchanged information.
Emotions were high, but never were my emotions taken out against others. Both right now, and even then, I am grateful for what that Admin contributes to the community, as I am sure most people are.
Mistakes happen, and that is not only okay, but expected.

After all information was gathered that could be at the given time, I began to work on my appeal.
To put it simply, I gathered my thoughts, and after two hours my appeal was complete.
Appeal was submitted, and from there it was a matter of patience and trusting the process.

I wouldn't be writing any of this if it weren't relevant. The proceedings are public.
What does this situation display of my character?
It shows in the face of adversity, even when it is directly impacting me, I am able to handle conflict with poise and professionalism.


Secondly, claims of my behavior being undesirable.
I am almost unsure what to even say here.
If you want to claim the LR was done for point farming, I can understand how you see that, but that is simply not the case.
A custom LR was done for purely fun. I won't be repeating that Lr, my lesson is learned, but observe my intentions here.

I've watched the clip at least a dozen times, and nothing I said seems even eyebrow-raising.
I could see some nitpicking in regards to how Chicken and I talk to each other, but that is playful banter.
See my recent report made on Chicken's behalf as a living example.


I want to take initiative here, rather than let this application wilt like an unwatered houseplant.
The application cycle is far from over, and I want to open a dialogue addressing potential concerns.
If nothing, the application cycle is for the improvement and betterment, not only for the individual, but the community at large.

I believe in granting the benefit of the doubt and thus have resolved to review the clip above as well as the surrounding discussion with added benefit leaning towards you. I have come away from this with a single conclusion, in that I cannot support your application at this time. While I do not believe that you had any malicious intentions, I do think that this situation highlights that you may not have the best grasp of the rules. That's completely fine, we can't expect players to have perfect knowledge nor be able to always determine if an action is against the rules when it's in a bit of a grey area, but I think you should've considered in the moment of choosing your lr and then carrying it out if maybe it wouldn't fly. Generally, if I have any doubt on whether or not something is against the rules, I will ask an admin about it and do something else that I know is compliant with the rules until I get a response. As such, I do not think I can support your application.

1. The LR in question was also done many times prior without any given problems.
So to respond to "I think you should've considered in the moment of choosing your lr and then carrying it out it maybe it wouldn't fly", I would say that yes the LR had no inherent problems to consider.
As of right now we are currently voting to ban mass trivia, as like you said, it is a grey area.
The LR in it's own right was completely legal, it was how it was done that was the hiccup.

2. An Admin was on during the given session, and no players on mentioned the potential issues.
There is a fundamental difference between a small infraction that negatively impacts zero players, versus a small error that leads to a freekill or failround.
The players on enjoyed the round, and I was not told what I was doing was wrong at the time.
As I've stated before, I believe all parties have a share of blame, myself the most.
No one is perfect, not one Admin, Donator, Regular, or Newcomer can claim to be infallible.


Small mistakes occur, once more observe my response to such an event, and please take that into consideration.
As I stated in my application from the prior cycle, patience is a quality I bring in spades.
This is not mere talk now, you've all been witness to it in motion.
