And for manga i'd recommend "Death Note", but want to say that the end REALLY sucks.
Right now i'm reading "Bakuman".

I can play its theme song ;3, same speed, etc... The first 50-60 seconds lol... It took me 3 weeks... + the piano sheet is 7 pages, first 50 seconds is just over the half of the first page... ;-;

My problem with anime is that I can't watch any for more than 15 episodes because I get bored so easily. But once in a while I have the strange, sudden, deep inside urge to watch anime. I get bored of it one day, next day I'm watching it again.
