Completed [JB] Add JB Area 17 (1 Viewer)

I really like this map, but it's not finished. There are a crap ton of bugs, like the toxic water not killing half the people, the sweeper bar just kinda tickles you and lags whenever it hits someone, climb has a chance to send you back to the start for no reason, etc. It's big like volcano, but unlike volcano its... good? If it gets another update to polish it off I will happily vote yes, but until then thats a no from me.
 
I think they JUST released a patch, I might change my vote to yes after a playtest
 
New update to the map has dropped. I suggest playtesting this in your own times as it seems to have some layout changes.
Would love if there were proper patch notes. Maybe play test this version? Or as krook said do it in your own time, take a look and see what's changed
 
Although the map itself. I am unsure about. It is just insanely large. The missing collisions on props and the colouring in dodge course is a bit funky but those are easily fixed.
The main problem in my eyes is whether or not the map is just too big. Probably the most expansive jb map asides from like maybe wip
I disagree with the comparison to wip considering it seems like area 17 uses the space it takes up wisely. (Minus the cell area since thats still massive) I mean cell area has a direct entrance to the area behind it!

Wip on the other hand is a trek to basically any minigame that isnt in cell area

Oh no I wasn't saying it isn't jam packed with content I'm just saying it is EXTREMELY easy to get lost. I feel like most of the minigames won't get played because it's so easy to miss them.
 
I think we should give this map a try in the rotation, sure it's big and confusing but lets not pretend like we don't already have maps like that in the rotation (Underjail specifically).

The minigames are quite good and minigames like fall game and crush game have been given twist to make them stand out compared to other maps.
The layout and secrets do leave something to be desired but I feel like it should be fine as long as the warden doesn't choose minigames that are too far apart.

Overall I think it will be worth having in the rotation.

Had a quick look around the updated version of the map, and Greatly appreciate the colour coding of the main sectors, makes it way easier to know where abouts you are. Also all the props that had no collisions now actually have them, at least to what I'm aware. Map is definitely improved a lot after being truly playtested.
 
especially after the most recent playtest (b6) i am feeling very positive about this map.

the only drawback i still could see being an issue is the size. however it is definitely worth a shot.
