concerning guardbans, if there were to be a permanent one how would that be removed and what would be the criteria for removal

But how would you be able to convince the admins to unban, it surely can't be forever. Right?
Most bans we hand out are not forever.

If its a permanent guardban you want to get rid of then it depends on one of these two things.

1st: You were permanently guardbanned since you did not have a microphone. So if you want to be back on blu you must have a properly working microphone.

2nd: You intentionally mass freekilled. For that you may need to wait a couple years at most and maybe even need to build up some kind of reputation that would make you trustworthy on keeping your promise to not mass freekill again.

But first you should inform yourself with the advice @TRGGB2 gave you

Racer actually missed the third, which is stacking. If you get guard banned for regular things enough time, which is generally four if we remember them all, (baiting, forcing failrounds, armory camping, being inactive, and stuff like that) you will also be permanently guardbanned. Which, after checking your history, is exactly why you were permanently teambanned. In your case it would require some level of convincing that you will no longer break the server rules as they relate guard rules.
