Hello!

I have complied a list of suggestions that i had on my mind for a while and id like the people who runs ff2 server to check them out.

Starting with Maps :

DustBowl Showdown and Mario Kart , these 2 maps kills the game the moment they are voted people leave and server dies I cannot think of more worthy maps of removal.

Gunturk + Minegay these two maps wouldn't be so bad if the teleportation mechanics are reworked in such a why that it doesn't allow players to camp it with stickies much like old water works map before, they are also on my removal request if they didnt get a rework,
speaking of rework Minecroft is a decent map with 1 issue: the Spells it offer a spell that red team uses and its the only thing that sucks about this map so id love to see a change to it.

Castle and mannco hq could use some more Health kits or just upgrade few.

and last Skyhigh resort this map is not in a good stand with community for pretty much the same reason as 2fort desk was, my fix to this is making falling out is deadly for red team,
falling outside of the map in most maps is deadly for red team, not having it in Skyhigh allows other plays to run away with no consequences at all and making it even harder for a boss to kill them.



Now Moving on to boss mechanics
Blu team minions should not be able to rtd especially when some bosses has strong minions for ex:
1-Count Heavy that summons 3-5 Fist of steel 600 heavies with 100% crit chance
2-Bombz the newest boss that summons a ton of fast minions that deal caper dmg.
and more, either nerf them or remove rtd but I suggest a mix of both.

The Mimicer This boss should NOT disguise on command, I was able to do it without backstabbing others
id also add slight hp nerf since he do has a clock and disguise on backstab which are ok with me and makes him unique to other bosses

Ninja Spy Very outdated and very weak his rage is spoking the team without any protection whatso ever, id say remove it and put it in normal Vsh not ff2

Same with Stylish raptor spy his rage is pretty much a downgrade since he gets no protection after he forces enemies to dance makes him an easy target for stabs and stomps

Fempyro should be removed for the reasons i mentioned before.

one last thing, i notice the trend of renewing and adding new bosses which iam on for but I think it would be to remove outdated bosses and one that never get used to make room for others.

And last Players mechanics
Revert the back scatter change, mini crits made sense and made back scatter an option for scouts, I don't see no reason to nerf it like that especially when u can get crits by taunting anyway.

Engineers pistol remove 50% of max ammo, 200 ammo allows engi to spam way too much poke dmg which he's already a decent dmg dealer and hard to kill when his nest is fully built,
ik it will force them to hug dispensers but it also may open engi s options to check out other weapons and for some other builds to shine.

Thats all i could think of for now, i know no matter what there will be always something overpowered but we can always try to balance it out.

Please let me know what you guys think, id love to see these changes take effects
 
Well I can agree with Dustbowl being removed, but is mariokart really server killing? I'd like to figure out why that map has such a glaring effect, because it's only mildly larger than Nebula with similar mechanics.
...Though I guess the sentry cloud is a major detriment to the map. But if that is the one and only issue - a simple nobuild would make it work.
I do agree on Minegay's tp issue - it makes you shift through four spots almost randomly, so if that was adjusted well, that would make it great. Granturks seems fine, however, as the tp entries are a bit precision demanding or needing you to have time.
I do agree on Minecroft's spell removal and MannHQ pack adding, though that map has a sniper issue thanks to it's size.
And finally I find it hard to add instakill for red, due to size of it. Maybe removal instead?

I will add on to the rest when I have more time
 
Perhaps mario kart map may not be as bad as dustbowl, it is killing the servers because the moment people see what it is they try to revote again and too many map switches will cause people to leave, it may be not as bad as showdown but it has to be removed as well, Manco Hq is big but snipers arent that big of an issue since boss can take cover and the maps isnt that big which means he will get to them intime.

Imo any map that has Long Tunnels and very large or tp areas where demos or engis can abuse it, should either be fixed or removed.
 
Dustshowdown - I would replace it with Dustshowdown_Deluxe which in my opinion is a much better and noticeably smaller version with some stuff removed.

Granturks - I'd remove the problematic vent and remove the control point from the sewers.

Castle and ManncoHQ - I feel like castle is already problematic enough with just that one medium health pack when there's a trolldier alive. ManncoHQ I can agree with, I guess.

Mimicer - Yeah I'd like to see again if there's a way for him to disguise just via backstabs, there were some issues with it when I tried.

Raptor Spy - Either a rework or a removal would be good but I don't have any ideas right now. Maybe just a rage rework.

FemPyro - Already up for removal.

Backscatter - I could bring back actual mini-crits, previously the mini-crits were just normal crits in disguise.

Yes i agree with most of what u said Kruphixx!

My General Rule For bosses is:

They need to be unique and not reskins of other bosses

They need to be able to provide value if u compare them with other bosses

and you dont want too many unused content in a server that takes 5-10 min to load in for the first time, sometimes less is more and u want new players to be able to jump in the server in little to no time

and finally boss mechanics should be rewarding good play and the mimicer change is a decent example of it!
 
If we could split up these points in their own threads / themes (bosses, maps and plugins separated) with their polls in the suggestion folder that would be great. It'll help understand what the community wants easily without confusion. This does not mean lets start spamming suggestions as not everything needs to be changed all at once.

I've moved this to the FF2 folder was it's more discussion than suggestion
