Finding SteamID With Steam Url

Using Websites
- To enable seeing steam url go to "Steam" on the top left corner, then click "Settings" then press "Interface" and make sure that "Display Steam URL address bar when available" is checked. This will allow you to be able to find someone's steamID whenever searching for someone and clicking on their profile.

- If you managed to snag someone's steam url, follow one of these three website links and copy and paste their steam url to find their Steam ID, it will be listed as the "steamID32".

Using Scoreboard
- Go to "Advance Option" and scroll down and make sure "Enable Mouse Input On The Scoreboard" is checked. This will allow you when looking at the scoreboard (generally by using the tab key) to right click on a player's name to go to their steam and you can copy and paste their Steam Url to find their steamID using the Website Method.

Using View All Players
- Whenever playing on the server you can view the current players on the server by opening up your steam overly (usually holding Tab + Shift but can be changed) and pressing "View All Players" (Note that if players join or disconnect this won't refresh so you'll have to close it and re-open it).

Using Console Commands
- To enable developer's console go to "Options" and around the bottom middle click on "Advance" and make sure "Enable Developer Console" is checked. Next while in game open console generally with the `/~ keys that can be rebinded and input "Status". This will generate a unique ID (which is the steam3ID) for each user that can be use in lieu of the Steam Url when finding the SteamID of a player using the Website Method.

Find SteamID With HLstatsX

Manual Search
- Go to HLstatsX and around the top left press "Search" then you can search for the player with their "Player Name" or "PlayerUnique IDs". For a quicker result I'd recommend changing the "Game" option to choose the specific server they were playing on to thin out the results ( especially if there are multiple people with the same/similar name to them).
