Lately I have been loving the feeling of going on Google Images and looking up locations in the world which look aesthetically pleasing. I am sure that there is a lot to see which I have not seen - partly because I look for capital cities a lot - so I wanted to open up a thread in which people can share pictures of other beautiful locations.

The city looks like a german one, it has been german in fact. Taken in the first franco-prussian war and given back to France after WWI.

The pink lake, Senegal

Yeah the lake actually IS pink, due to all the salt in the water, quite awsome, i had the chance to see it, looks unreal

BTW I have heard that the old town in Tallin was closed to being demolished and replaced with boxy communist-style concrete architecture during soviet times.
