- [Guards] not allowed to talk through the Warden's orders.
The Warden normally speaks at the beginning of the round, so if the system found a Warden please let him have his introduction and orders before the doors open.

Either I’m ignorant or punishment varies ( probably by warning and stacking punishment). I feel as though the rule should be changed/ reworded to add it as a general rules for prisoners, freedays, and guards. Something in the line of, “ When warden gives orders/ is talking reds & blues aren’t able to talk”. I propose whenever warden is talking/ giving order that there should be a 10-30 second timeframe that reds and blues aren’t allowed to talk. Alternative when the warden is finish with their order (s) and repeat, blues and reds are allowed to talk.
( Leave your feedback/ thoughts on this proposal).

Pros:
- Prevents overtalking/ “fake orders” ( like a red saying, “ all reds go to medic”).
- Let’s orders be clear/ have a period of repeat if needed.
- Lessen time wasted/ fail rounds ( no longer needing to say red and blues off mic and having the round delayed due to inability to hear orders).
- Hopefully less incidents of overtalking/ mic spamming and thus people being in the crossfire.

Cons:
- Time to adjust to the new change.
- Where the line should be on leniency on overtalking ( possibility should go along warning more to prevent overtaking, to a kick, and then to comm block).
- Crossfire punishments ( multiple people overtalking that might’ve not all been at fault).

This sounds so complicated, can you imagine admin sat counting seconds after the warden talking. The rule is very simple and easy to understand at this point. It is universally understood by regulars and admins alike. For new players the ability to just say "Don't talk when the warden is talking".

If Freeday/Reds decide to overtalk warden, he can just give the command "Reds of Mic of 30 Seconds" and kill them if they continue.

@Magglet Pretty much nailed it on the head, the overtalking issue really only affects repeat offenders, if you listen to warnings given out asking you to not overtalk, you shouldn't have a problem with this rule, adding more to it will just complicate it and require more explaination/warning than just "don't overtalk warden"

The idea is a good one but when it boils down, the only time I hear people being told not to overtalk is the people that get gagged by admins. If the warden wants to tell the reds not to talk then they can say the order "All reds off the mic for 30 seconds" if a red talks during that time then it's the blu's decision after that point.

Poll is pretty conclusive. Thanks for suggesting, but the overtalking rules don't seem to need any adjustments. Declined.
