- [Guards] not allowed to talk through the Warden's orders.
The Warden normally speaks at the beginning of the round, so if the system found a Warden please let him have his introduction and orders before the doors open.
Either I’m ignorant or punishment varies ( probably by warning and stacking punishment). I feel as though the rule should be changed/ reworded to add it as a general rules for prisoners, freedays, and guards. Something in the line of, “ When warden gives orders/ is talking reds & blues aren’t able to talk”. I propose whenever warden is talking/ giving order that there should be a 10-30 second timeframe that reds and blues aren’t allowed to talk. Alternative when the warden is finish with their order (s) and repeat, blues and reds are allowed to talk.
( Leave your feedback/ thoughts on this proposal).
Pros:
- Prevents overtalking/ “fake orders” ( like a red saying, “ all reds go to medic”).
- Let’s orders be clear/ have a period of repeat if needed.
- Lessen time wasted/ fail rounds ( no longer needing to say red and blues off mic and having the round delayed due to inability to hear orders).
- Hopefully less incidents of overtalking/ mic spamming and thus people being in the crossfire.
Cons:
- Time to adjust to the new change.
- Where the line should be on leniency on overtalking ( possibility should go along warning more to prevent overtaking, to a kick, and then to comm block).
- Crossfire punishments ( multiple people overtalking that might’ve not all been at fault).
