So, as we all know, nukes are pretty destructive, especially on small maps (eg: tfdb_pingpong_c7) where a nuke can almost kill the entire team or maps with a barrier (eg: tfdb_orenge_blu_red_panda), where it is difficult to avoid being killed by the nuke without accidentally running into the barrier which kills you. Even more destructive when theres a new/annoying player that keeps running into you, they get the nuke and of course, they cant hit it so you both die, which im sure we've all been through, it happens to me at least once a day so I'm guessing its about the same for other players here. I dont know about TX, NY or SG servers, but on EU servers there's always discontent about the nukes, especially about their shitty hitboxes. However, i do know there are quite a few people who like the nuke so a vote could go either way probably, but most of the time im online the nuke just gets m2'ed into the ground.

In my opinion, i think it would be best for our sanity and kd if we just deleted the nuke altogether, or at least reduce its radius so it can't wipe out half the team. Or, give them a better hitbox (i dont remember which hitbox is better, smaller/larger so if someone could share that).

[NOTE]
-This is for all db servers, not just EU. This means it includes all US serves plus SG and whatever other panda db servers there are.
-If you play dodgeball, please vote and don't ignore this, your opinion counts on this suggestion.
-Don't vote on the poll if you haven't ever played db or haven't played it in over 3 months, if I look on your gameME page and see you haven't played it within this timeframe I will personally hunt you down.
-Don't post here unless you're an admin or you've played dodgeball in the past 3 months. (Don't use the excuse that you played for 5 minutes 2.9 months ago, you need a suitable, recent play time).
-If you can, please explain your choice below to help others choose.
-You may vote for 1 OPTION out of the following:
  • Option A
  • Option B
  • Option C
  • Option D
  • Option B and Option C
-YOU MAY ONLY VOTE TWICE IF YOU VOTE FOR BOTH OPTION B AND OPTION C
-Please don't vote for both deleting the nuke and reducing nuke explosion radius, or any other stupid combination.
-You can change your vote, but only if you've changed your mind due to what someone said, don't fuck up my poll.
-14 days to vote, cause why not.

Maybe making the player unable to down spike the nuke and 'destroy' it?

I wouldn’t drag USDB into this for two reasons:

1. The poll will be biased, considering hardly any USDB players use the forums (excluding the Admins themselves).

2. From my experience, USDB players actually enjoy nukes. I often hear them say “Play it” or “Don’t downspike it.” And when I used to administrate, players would often ask for me to spawn nukes (even though it’s not possible).

You should be aware that dodgeball suggestions are often one-sided, meaning only EU or US is affected. Reason being, the playerbase highly differentiates from one another based on their likings. EU tends to lean towards fair gameplay, whereas the US prefers fun, sometimes “rude”, gameplays.
