i hate it when people ruin the fun of everyone else by cheating or being generally annoying, usually i try to explain why what they are doing is wrong, but if they dont listen i'd like to give them actual punishment to make the server a better, and more fun place for everyone that joins

- Finally, please briefly explain how you would do your job, e.g. a general overview of your policies and punishments.
if i got !called i would see what the problem is, try to warn them and explain why it is wrong what they are doing (except when they are obviously hacking, then i'll just ban them) and if they listen they get off the hook, and if they don't the person will get the appropriate punishment. (be it mute/gag for a chat/voicespammer, or ban for a person that does not follow other server rules)

i also play on #06 hightower and 26# smash bros but on a report i would join every panda server and see what the problem is, that is what admins are for, if it is when ihave the time ofcourse

I prefer normal chat, but if i think they dont read the chat i could always use my voice

I have been rejected by another server outside panda community once because i was not of the appropriate age, i was 14 at the time and had to be 16

On the duel server we have specific rules that are legal in most other servers, that is why there are a lot of rulebreakers who join the server first time, i think you should be gentle with them at first but if they refuse to listen, they don't belong on this server. i notice that a lot of people in the server take offense to these new players not following the rules properly, but at the start they can't help it because they don't know any better, for example every new demoman will stickytrap the spawndoors once, i did too when i first joined the server, i listened to the admins and the other players and everything was allright. i really enjoy playing on this server and i have a lot of friends active on the server as well, and i hope that as admin i could make it a safer, more pleasant place for everyone who joins

Since you added a new overworked application, I will change my personal mind.
Your application is still quiet short but includes everything needed.
Starting with your punishments, they are way too low. The lowest punishment time we give is 2hours, they then multipled by two usually.
Panda Community has a 6 way template on bans, so we give out 5comm blocks/bans before the 6th,the final last one is permanent. Please overwork your punishment times with that.
I dont recall having a rule which disallows spamming the spawns, what do you mean by that?

Staying neutral till you overworked your application once again.

you can't keep the spawn door under continuous fire so other people can't get out of spawn, Evert said it, and if i recall correctly it has a visual chat pop-up too, although i can be wrong about that

(I have combined racism and speaking in another language into swearing/harassing other people since they are pretty similar, but i have a zero tolerance standpoint on racism so you could get a worse punisment. i have made the duel specific rules a little bit more vague/lenient since not all of them are that severe, and are mistakes people make when they first join the server. but you can count on the normal treatment if i know you have joined the server before, since that is quite easy to track with gameme.)

(Edited) Application seem not bad writted and punishements suits to me.
I don't recall neither having a rule about spamming door. Most of spam I'm dealing with is the demo/soldier shooting pills/rockets from his spawn and goes to locker for keep spamming up (works with most of classes aswell)

Since for now i'm not sure about your behavior and motivations, I'll stay neutral for now. I'll wait and see, and will maybe change my mind if I see anything.

Not sure what you mean by disallowing spawn spam either... I only punish people spamming from spawn as in: avoiding reload by hugging the resupply locker.
That being said, your app seems ok-ish now that you've updated your ban times.
There's two things I feel like I'm missing in you:

• Some effort applying rules on the server (by reminding etc..) and reporting rule breakers as a non-admin.
• A general adult approach to things. You sometimes start complaining about game mechanics and that's not very suiting for an admin. (at least imo)

Now that you know this, I think you can work on it and change my opinion. But for now I will also remain neutral.

Just FYI, I spoke to Brick in-game before he made any changes and told him he needs to put more work into the application punishments etc... and told him to look at past ones for inspiration as his wasn't nearly good enough originally. Straight away he went to improve it and added a lot. He has shown dedication in this so much respect from me as most people would ignore this and not do anything. Just thought this info would be good for the admins to know. Good Luck!

if you're still interested in gaining admin then please make a fully new admin application (which includes everything stated in the admin application template) and i'll put it then under review again and take a decision.


PS: no lock of 1 month, you can directly apply again.
