God fucking knows why but probably something along the lines of "Insulting and Toxicity"
  • Admin that Banned you
@Kevin or @Nightascythe, probably @Kevin
  • Why should you receive a unban for the ban
Ugh, if you are going to ban me for speaking the truth you might as well make this community a fucking dictatorship. I'm not going to beg to be unbanned, nor am I sorry for what I said. The fact that you banned me for saying 2 sentences being "Zelda you are not smart in anyway" & "If you are not assigned to JB & you know the rules, just don't" shouldn't suffice a ban, especially since I've seen far worse and nothing happened.

Seriously Kevin, since I am almost certain you banned me, if you are to ignore me, but then ban me for some lowly shit like that, you might as well just ban everybody you don't like because that is what you are doing.

I know I’ve just made a thread about disabling shoutbox but I’m too lazy and I still had it enabled .-.

I wasn’t there for the whole argument but from what I’ve seen you two threw insults at each other. Both of you exchanged equally inappropriate remarks but the fact that you got penalized and Zelda didn’t is a little unfair (although this may not matter at all).

Also, there are nicer ways to say things. “Zelda you are not smart in anyway” is going to raise a red flag for the admins, especially Zelda herself.

In my opinion I think you could’ve dealt with it better and perhaps had apologized to Zelda and it could’ve saved you from a ban.

I don’t know what direction this will go but if it turns out that your appeal is rejected then it’s not the end of the world. Maybe apologizing to Zelda will convince her to ask Kevin to unban you, but you do not have direct control over human beings so that’s my best advice.

Why would someone ever get banned for this?

Saying: "Zelda you are not smart in any way" isn't the best way to handle what Zelda did but it doesn't deserve a shoutbox ban, the second thing that husky said is actually completely true other admins from other servers shouldn't get involved other servers especially if they don't know the rules of that server.

Zelda really didn't deal with this very well, she was very defensive and pretty much contradicted herself.

After what husky said I said "how do you see ghosting in chatlogs?" She started getting defensive after that I replied: "all I did was point out that you can't see ghosting in chatlogs." She went on to say "I didn't gag him for ghosting." I put what she said in the shoutbox then she said: "I made a mistake ok?".

That's pretty much all I had to say.

Admins should not get involved in other servers, neither should people who are not related to this appeal comment yoyo.

Let’s wait for the decission like normal people do.

I get your point Mr. PNN, I think the solution you propose is practical.

Altough I’d like to note that this discussion and the interventions made by ordinary forumists have a certain intrinsic value and I’ll explain why:

This community is essentialy a monarchy since Kevin detains all the power. This power is then divided by Kevin to a certain number of people which he trusts (the Admins). So the monarchy actually appears to become an aristocracy, where few people rule.

But thats not the end of it. This aristocratic power could be used to oppress the ordinary user, but it is not used for such porpouse. Instead, you can kind of breath a “democratic wind” in this community: popular polls for maps and changes are respected and ordnary user can make interventions on important topics without being censored. The king and his aristocrates are at least called to follow a moral code by the popular opinion.

This is why these interventions are important, they are a moral calling for the high powers of the community and they help to mantain the democratic spirit of Panda.

It's a forum, not a country.

And a forum, just like a country, is made of people interacting and having social relations with eachother.

And just like in a real country, you get locked up for having a differing opinion from that of the people in charge or who the people in charge happen to like. Also matching real countries is the lack of transparency. Funny eh

i dont see any reason why i should lift the ban again, your behavior doesnt change anyways hence the ban stays.

we’ve had this once already and i’ve seen enough.
