- Your name and/or nickname
My real life name is Nick, and my in-game name is Nick On Sunday Nights, but most people just call me Nick.

- Your age
I'm 13 while writing this, but I'm 14 in 3 weeks on October 9th.

- Who gave you permission to apply? (applies to applicants under 15 or those who apply for servers not listed in the "Available positions" thread)
Spiciest Milk/spicy milk gave me permission as I am under 15.

- Your Steam32 ID (this is not simply a profile link. Look up what it is and how to get it; simply posting what you think it is makes you seem unprofessional)
STEAM_0:1:102700708

- Your general online times and your timezone
EST I wake up usually around 10 AM-12 PM and stay up until 11-12 when not in school (which I'm not for the next 2 weeks). When I'm in school, I'll be on from 4 PM to 9:30-10 PM.

- Which of our servers do you usually play on and wish to apply for? Would you visit a broader range of servers in case of a report?
NY Jailbreak. If I got a report, I could obviously go to the other jailbreak server. I haven't played any other Panda servers that I remember, but I could also go to jump, surf, and Mario Kart (I haven't played dodgeball, but I'm going to try that soon, so maybe that in the future.).

- Do you have a microphone? (This is a minimum requirement for Jailbreak admins)
Yep, I have and use my mic frequently.

- Your previous experience as Admin or Moderator
I have no official previous experience, but I know how to take charge when needed.

- Do you have experience with administrating with SourceMod?
No, but I do know how to use commands and how to work the menus in the Source Engine, I just need to learn the commands to do that.

- Why should we choose you to be part of our team?
Now, with there being only 2 admins online that I know of, they can't be on all the time, and I can help with that. I see rule breakers all the time, even if they're small, but it still affects the server's fun in the long run of the round(s), if not the rest of the day. I know all the rules and how they affect gameplay, so I want to help fix all that needs fixing in the community. I am very well respected by the server's players and I am friends with the majority of the regular players and jailbreak admins. This is by far my favorite jailbreak server and my favorite TF2 server overall to play on as it has a pretty solid community. I know how and when to take action if needed, and I'm really good with communicating with people.

- Finally, please briefly explain how you would do your job, e.g. a general overview of your policies and punishments.
Generally, I'll give 1-3 warnings if the offense is minor such as racism, ghosting, spamming, or !call abuse. Otherwise, I'll take immediate action if a BLU is obviously freekilling or if anyone is blatantly hacking. If someone is freekilling few people, but on purpose, I'll slay them and give a warning, but if it continues I'll guardban for an hour. Mass freekilling, I'd probably do a few hour server ban. For spamming after continuous warnings, I'll give an hour mute/gag. For everything else, it really depends on the severity of what's happening. I'm generally really nice and forgiving, but if something crosses the line, I'll do all I need for it to stop.

-Extra info
I'm a fast learner, especially with commands. I'm good at assuming what each of them do, even if they have vague names, and I know how to be an admin, I just haven't had official experience. I may need a small amount of help, but I can do it. I have had no bans, mutes/gags, or anything that I know of, and I have a current 7-8 day play time.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and consider me to be part of the team. Many people look to me for answers on rules on the server already, even though I'm not on the staff team yet.
-Nick

Neutral as I haven't been online for a while and haven't seen him before.

-1 The amount of lenny bind spam and overuse caps is ridiculous.
i don't know if milk is trying to favour your but this says enough

I was going to agree with you before I clicked on the link because I know in the past I have spammed some lenny binds, but after looking at the example you gave (which is from last night around 9 EST) I have to politely disagree with what you are saying. First of all, those logs were taken with no context of what was going on in the game or what other people were saying. Second of all, that was at least 10-15 minutes of gameplay on one map. There are 8 lenny binds and I don't put multiple together (as in one after the other). 8 lenny binds within around 10 minutes is not spam. Spam is something sent either many unneeded times or to many people who shouldn't or just don't care. It may be unneeded and unnecessary, but I'd say spam was if I did all 8 within 2 minutes. Thank you.

Im not talking only about the first page the other pages to.
I see a massive amount of spam binds.
Here are some

There is even more not realy a thing for a admin to spam binds likes this.

Yeah, I see what you mean, but I can guarantee I wouldn't do that if I were to become an admin. The reason I've done it constantly is because I'm not even the only person doing it. I know I do it a lot, but that's the type of thing I will get rid of to mature to become an admin. Also, a lot of the stuff said constantly in chat by me and everyone else is either an inside joke or just mentioned in voice chat before typed in text chat. I 100% agree with an admin shouldn't spam binds, but you have to realize that as an admin, I wouldn't do that, y'know? Also, in those chat logs I'm actually trying to stop a lot of what is going on, and a decent amount of people listen to me already.

+1

In game I've never seen him use his binds as spam and for reference I mean spam as in using a bind or filling the chat box up with stuff like "ldaldallsdcaw" in a fashion that would obscure other players' chat. I went through the logs and there wasn't anything similar to this as for some instances there are couples of minutes in between binds and spam in the sense that there isn't any meaningful chat in between these binds isn't what I would consider as spam.

My problem with Nick is that when there isn't an admin on he tends to stray from the rules a bit.

Stopping if you were to become an admin in my opinion isn't the right way to do things, people who become admins have to follow all the rules before they do become admin, and also just because someone else is doing something doesn't mean you should do it, if someone is spamming Lenny faces you should warn them, than call an admin

This is really going off topic, either ways, @The Spiciest Milk don't you think that the chat logs of Nick that @iceviet put in here shows exactly how much you shouldn't be supporting him? He's even trying to point shit out like that he's not the only one spamming as if that's a good excuse for someone applying for admin and that the spam will stop and he'll be more mature... once he becomes admin, and you're still giving a +1. Please don't even fucking say you're not trying favouring him

Also the whole reason I was against this in the first place is because you said you lenny faced because others did and said you would stop if you became an admin (which isn't the reason you should stop)

Alright I noticed I said I was doing it because others were. I don't remember why I said that and that is false. I mean others do, but that's not why i do it. I have stopped as of today. I've been playing since about 9 this morning and it's almost 6 now, and I've done at most 4 lenny binds, and one or two of them were me hitting the button accidentally. I never said I'd be more mature to be an admin. I said in my post I'm mature enough when I need to be. I goof off when I want to, on purpose. The chat logs were showing my chats, but nobody else's. In between each message there were voice chats going on and other people talking. The definition of spam does not apply. Even if you think I was spamming, that's on me, but that's not a reason to keep me from being admin. It's not even real spamming. There's this kid who comes on the server every day advertising him mass freekilling steam group and he got muted once. That's real spamming. Me pressing a lenny face once every few minutes is not literally spamming as much as gibberish as milk said, or advertising. I really want to be admin, more than anything right now. The server really needs it at this moment. Spamming by definition is not what you think I'm doing. Like i said before, my ability to be mature and be an admin surpasses my ability to put lenny binds in chat. I've made sure to keep my binds down to a minimum. They were pretty small before, but I've condensed it even further. I just don't want one small thing to impact me being an admin. I know how to do the job. No one has actually mentioned anything about my actual application. I understand what everyone is saying, but if I don't get it just and singularly because of LENNY BINDS that weren't even technically being spammed, there's something wrong here.

The reason why I supported him against the claim of spam is that I myself believe that spam isn't when someone uses an immature and unfunny meme for giggles. I think that spam should be; if not, classified as saying the same thing multiple times in a short span of time.
But if the majority is dissenting on my reasoning then I'll change votes to

Neutral

Also, these claims of favoring are a little absurd to me - I've never given any of my friends any sort of favoritism before even to Kyl3 or Travis who I consider to be my best friends here. Nick is a friend, yes, but I gave permission to him because through my experiences with him on Jailbreak I found him to be well in most cases and had no problem with commending him.

Only server admins can reply here. Others please restrain your self from writing here and let admins decide.
False. Anyone's allowed to give insight in an application if they're familiar with the applicant; however, only server admins are capable of voting, meaning stating whether or not they support them, or giving numerical values (+1, -1).

In regards to spam, a player can only spam in chat, if they're flooding the chat box. Having a lenny bind, or any other "unnecessary bind", is completely fine, if they're not flooding the chat box or continously using it to the degree that it becomes noticably obnoxious or excessive. Looking at the screenshots provided, the only thing questionable is "the sky" bind. It's a small issue with an easy fix; remove the bind, if you can't use it properly.

@The Spiciest Milk, stay true to your vote. Don't let your vote sway, just because the majority isn't in your favor. Hell, sometimes the majority is in the wrong. In my opinion, based on the screenshots provided, the majority is stressing over an issue that doesn't even exist. There's no spam; just an excessive use of "the sky", which can be easily fixed.

Carry on.

@Cryptic I think "the sky" things were said at different times. At the time of that chat I was using voice chat more than text and I was pressing it every few minutes. That could be considered spam, but once again, that was only MY chat, and not everyone else's.

So let's say he actually didn't spam as he claimed even though he did admit to doing it earlier but then saying it was false (lying, trying to defend himself). Can we just not ignore the toxic messages sent in the same chat logs? Can we just think to ourselves that that person could become an admin?

@Sarwan Bryant If he is toxic now, why does that mean he will carry on doing the same? He applied for admin, and I am relatively positive he has a decent idea of what sort of attitude and behaviour one must have.

Furthermore, you are neglecting the fact a good portion of our admin team (current or previous) used to and be insultive and spammy. Take me as a VERY good example:

These have been taken directly from @Cryptic's response in my admin application.

After inspecting the images I provided, have a look at my current chat.

If I was given a chance (thanks @Cryptic <3), if a good chunk of our admin team was given one, why shouldn't he? To be honest, his chat does show he uses lenny faces, but it's nowhere near as bad as I used to be.
