Declined Jailbreak - Remove !w (1 Viewer)

Hello, I would like to bring up a problem (In my opinion) on Jailbreak servers, the !w command. If you did not know, the !w command forces that player to be warden, if there is not one currently.

With the recent removal of the !uw command (Unwarden), I think that !w should be removed too. Currently, mid game wardening (Making yourself warden using !w after warden dies/leaves mid game) is not allowed.

So to recap, under the current rules you can only force warden before cell doors open. The only thing is though, is using !w before a random warden is chosen. Normally, a random warden is chosen from the people on BLU team, but with !w, you can force yourself to be warden before the random pick.

Now to be fair, you can only use it 3 times a map. But it still is annoying, when that one guy joins and just forces himself to be warden three times in a row with !w. Right now the only other actual time you can force warden (According to server rules*) is as I mentioned before cell doors open. So I think that removing this command entirely like you guys did with !uw will benefit the most. Thank you.

No it shouldnt because appaarently before cells open (at least from my knowlage) when the warden eith A un wardens or B leaves or C kills themselves before reds are out of there cells and the doors are closed your allowed to rewarden

Yes @Meghend, I mentioned that. I do believe though that just giving them a freeday is better than having to deal with a !w user. I do see where you are coming from though and respect your opinion.

Giving them a freeday ain't better at all. If celldoors are closed and the warden has either left or gotten him/herself killed then someone should preferably warden theirselves and keep the round going, if you want to be warden badly just use the command yourself or nicely ask the person to stop doing the command at the start of the round.

I would hate having that removed. Since, some people don't read the rules and go onto blue without a mic, they sometimes have to be warden and since they don't use a mic, its automatically freeday. If you got rid of the !w setting then there would be a lot more freedays which i kinda hate since u don't really do anything

Its exactly as Jimjo says, the main reason for the !w command being enabled is for when there are blus who either do not have a mic or failwarden. Admins cannot respond to every single call so this makes for a reasonable stopgap measure before and admin arrives to deal with the problem
