The menu does not always show up when entering the server. Thus new players might miss it.

As discussed earlier in the shoutbox, the menu shows up once for every new player and then needs time to reset.
I'm still not sure if the timer is shared through multiple servers or only the server the player has connected to.

I used to warn regular players 3 to 4 times given there was some time between their mistakes. After that I stopped and applied punishments immediatly, it seemed to work out fine. Most regulars didn't repeat their mistakes at all.
@Zeprus 3 to 4 times in total or everytime they join the server ?

In total of course. One warning per session up to a maximum of two if it's only minor spamming or something similar.

This I still think is incredibly stupid. It is a somewhat unusual rules as in it's not obvious that it's against the rules compared to e.g insulting. On top of that this rule isn't mentioned anywhere on the server. We cannot expect every single player to visit the forums before continuing to play. Also, most players stop this after being warned. It's not a problem with ones personality as it might be the case with actual cheaters or excessive insulting. It barely differs from spamming the chat.

Each to his own. I have zero tolerance when it comes to hacking or advertising hacks. In no situation is it justifiable to hack or advertise hacks. Although the "no advertising hacks" rule isn't clearly specified on the servers, it's common sense not to advertise something that's forbidden throughout all servers. Who in their right of mind would find advertising something forbidden as being appropriate? Another example would be insulting. As you stated, it's common sense not to insult others. If a player is encouraging another player to insult, I will not tolerate that, and I'm sure neither would you.

I believe this started from the comment that one of the admins made that triggered this into effect.

Let me let you in on a little secret...We all ready do this. Well most of us  It's an unwritten rule as I do not believe we follow a code of conduct. I think there where some written up that's still in the trial admin folder but that's about it.

So, @Trial Gameserver Admin @Gameserver Admin a friendly reminder; Keep on warning people before punishing. kthanksbye
