Note: I'm typing this on my phone so sorry for any typos.

------------

I've seen quite some complaints about people making their own custom days in JB, they aren't all bad but in the end they have 1 thing in common, they are made for quick points or even to trick reds.

With tricking I mean for example: warden says its "out of cell rebel day" and then gives an order to come out of the cell and since that's a new order it overides the "out of cell rebel day" but the warden will mostly kill people that listened to him.

So my suggestion for a new rule is.

"You are not allowed to use any custom days that you have created or thought about yourself"

To add to it if people really want a custom day added they can suggest it on the forums and then admins can see if it is a fun day to do or just another way to point farm.

Sounds like a good idea.
Admins are actually taking a look at the rules of Jailbreak lately.
We have written down that the Warden has to do a Minigame which gives a Last Request in the end.
And that the Warden cannot give Last Request Minigame options from the Menu.

It's too bad most minigamers thought up are based around point farming.
But it would be a shame if people won't come up with their own minigames like I sometime do.

Generally making up a minigame is completely fine. This rule just goes up against any order with day in it, that tricks reds.

The problem with it is that people say it and expect people to understand what it means.

That's why from then on I have told people who say it to explain what that day means as it is not written in the panda jailbreak rules defining that minigame (will never will really as the purpose of it is to trick)

It's like me say it's Donald trump day and killing people who don't type 'heil' in the chat because it's donald trump day. They aren't mind readers.

Rules have just gotten an update (privately, due to it being a rough draft)((it is not in effect yet, dw)) and still need a lot of work. Something like this will be taken into consideration.

I don't think though we should restrict creativity. The rule you proposed does so.
The problem is not explaining, expecting people to know what it means and then killing them. It's a form of freekilling that people get away with.

Making up Minigames is fine, but making up games where you line up and the warden gets to kill every single Red player is something we want to avoid.
It happend a lot in the past and the old team did everything to prevent this and added some new rules so this won't be the case anymore.

I don't know why the dislike since it basicly supports what you've said. :kappa:

I guess you're talking about shit like "Shoot or don't shoot"

Pretty much, I hope everybody agrees that games like that shouldn't be a thing anymore on Jailbreak.
The sad thing is, I've seen more games like this.

A old Admin I had to work with made up a lot of games involving him shooting everybody.
Or even make up minigames what just involved tricking Red and him only being allowed to kill everyone.

Never again.

I notice this a lot really, Instead of straight up removing creativity which is quite a lot in the cases of some Wardens e.x Wolf! as he has said. i would personally say it would be easier to say any orders that force movement such as to the yellow/red/blue etc lines or straight to a mini-game it should auto remove the "day" order.
It seems this is trying to be the next big Warday thing, the "out of cell rebel day or the no movement day" its just from people who try to gain points they really shouldn't try to earn
P.S: I sometimes get guards that kill players when i say for all reds to move to the yellow line as they thought it was a "day" command yet i personally don't want to say such commands as its pointless

I'm fine with custom mini-games, but the "Day" thing shouldn't be there since it goes under the category of Tricking Reds. Then again, First reaction, Last reaction also goes under there, but that's more of a reaction game than a trickery game.
