Date and Time of the Ban 06.01.2017 ; 21:05 (CET)
Reason about the Ban - The server I was banned on (Dodgeball) has a rule "Do not block other players", which is referred to players bumping into the enemy so they are not able to see the incoming rocket, orbit etc. The case is, I was going around the teammate "TheLegend27" (aka. the admin Lighty), for which he froze me like several times. Telling me not to "block" other players (not even explaining me what blocking means for him). I guess the other part of the story should go under the reason below.
Admin that Banned you - Lighty
Why should you receive a unban for the ban - He could clearly deflect rockets, move around, see everything, whatever anyone on the team does, simply because they his teammates. Anyways, he froze me like several times, and I decided to suicide on the rocket so I can damage him (the first rocket never kills, especially on splash damage). And here I got the permanent ban. If the demo is needed, I can send link in the comments.

The "Do not block other players" Rule is dedicated for teammates and the enemy's. And you got several warnings from Lighty and he said to not block. And I think you would know this otherwise you wouldn't mention it in the thread. With other words I think you deserve this ban but I am not an admin. So its for the admins to decide.

In my opinion the ban is longer than necessary. However, if you have an issue with the rules, you can discuss it in a civil manner and suggest a change on the forums. You can not continue doing whatever you want, especially not after an admin told you to stop. As for not knowing what was meant by blocking, in my opinion it's fairly self explanatory. Also I believe a certain familiarity with the rules can be expected of all players.

No blocking; leave space for others. What is considered as blocking includes:
  • Getting close to an enemy and immediately returning their rocket when it's not yours.
  • Not giving other players enough space to handle the rocket.
  • Hindering enemies' movement.

It is allowed to bodyblock players who can't airblast the rocket and have been orbiting for too long. Examples of this include players who rolled "Stripped to Melee" in RTD and had their weapon removed.

This is the exact wording currently to be found in the rules. Ultimately it's down to the admin (within reason) what they consider to be "too close" and what they consider acceptable.

Personally I am against removing your ban. Given the count and the odd stacking (?) of your bans I would however shorten it as a final chance.

EDIT:

Also just to add this here:
Anyways, he froze me like several times, and I decided to suicide on the rocket so I can damage him (the first rocket never kills, especially on splash damage).

The fact that you were close enough to him for him to take splash damage to me indicates that you were blocking and that you were too close.

As Nitro said, the rule alludes to enemies and teammates. If the rule solely referred to enemies, it would read, "Do not block enemies."

There are three reasons why the rule is associated with teammates:
  1. If you're blocking teammates, you're not giving them enough space. Yes, they may freely walk pass you; however, you're significantly increasing the chances of team-killing, by standing near them. If you interfere with the rocket, you'll significantly damage him, if not kill him.
  2. If you're blocking teammates, you're blocking their view. You act as if teammates are invisible; however, that's not the case. If a teammate were to stand directly in front you, you would move because you can't see anything.
  3. If you're blocking teammates, you're hindering their performance, by distracting them and being obnoxious. Because of you, your teammates now have to worry about being team-killed, when their attention should be solely focused on the rocket.
I decided to suicide on the rocket so I can damage him (the first rocket never kills, especially on splash damage).
The fact that you intentionally suicided to inflict damage on him proves how immature you are. Suiciding doesn't cause splash damage. Suiciding causes the rocket to switch directions to a teammate unknowingly. If the teammate doesn't catch the rocket, you team-killed them. Spawn rockets do kill. You can die by spawn rockets, if you stand too close to one or by fall damage, after you're launched into the air.

You deserve this ban. It would be asinine to think otherwise.

You were permanently banned because this ban is your 5th ban on this account. Your other bans may be found here .

Oh boy. I did explain to you what blocking is and that you can't block your teammates, or in other words, you have to leave space for others. I was freezing you and walking away from you to indicate that you shouldn't be right next to me which should be really obvious, I gave you plenty of warnings too since I don't ban so quickly for blocks. Then right after being unfrozen you continued following me and walking into me.

Now without repeating what Cryptic and TBot said, you do not deserve an unban especially since you're too dense to look at the simple rules that are shown in chat every few minutes automatically, and the fact that you even tried to avoid your punishments with alts which eventually also got banned, resulting in a total of 7 bans, 8 if you include the permanent one, you clearly had too many chances.
