Reason: Hacking (lol)
Banned by: alperrt
From: Panda-Community.com #25 [Trade|gameME]

This is the second time I've been perma banned from Panda servers for illegitimate reasons.
I believe I was banned for playing ambassador spy, the same reason I was banned from #18.
I'd love to see the evidence; keep in mind I have nearly 4.5k hours in tf2.

Thanks lads.

You weren't banned for playing amby spy, you were banned for showing beyond clear signs of a wallhack being used. (probably some sort, way or form of an aimbot aswell but idk about that)
Both I and @Da Random were watching you for a while, and alot of clear shit went down during that time.

In the beginning you "check" behind you for possible enemies, and the proceed to move your cursor directly on top or Sir Cat, who was covered by terrain the whole time.
at around 14000+ You shoot a spy, then proceed to track him perfectly while shooting at him, while he was invis? (then one somewhat pathetic cover-up shot after you realized what you just did)
Then you once again shoot Sir Cat, proccing his deadringer, and then proceed to "accidentally" bump into him (honestly this made me smirk because it was so obvious)

And some of the shots were questionable as well and with enough slowing down you can see that the bullet shoots to a place the spectator-delay cursor movement doesn't move right afterwards, but those are not the point here.

But yeah if anyone sees a reason why the 3 main points are NOT considered a wallhack, please let everyone know.

(lol)

Edit: Not all hackers are retarded and make things obvious, just remember that before shouting "BUT HE WOULD HIT EVERYONE AND WOULD CONSTANTLY BE TRACKING PEOPLE THROUGH WALLS BECUS HE HAZ HAX!!!1!!11!"

I mean I'm only a db admin, but your perfect "prediction" of where Sir Cat would be after triggering his DR looks pretty damn fishy to me.

I just had a chance to look at the demo there. Again, I have to bring my time played into this, I have more than 500 hours on spy almost exclusively using the ambassador. When you've spent that much time using it, in particular, against other spies you'll notice how other players tend to play.

Now I will admit that the bump at the nether portal was pretty lucky I actually said wow to myself out loud while I was playing yesterday. But if you just think about the other times. A spy comes out of spawn, I land a headshot on him, it sets off his DR. Now, not only do I know he's DR'd but I can also see a nice little "Critical Hit" sign following above his head for what? 2 seconds?
He's moved out of his spawn, and is making his way toward the pool, so it only makes sense that I'd try to track him through the blue gate into the pool area.

Now if you think about when I take a shot at Sir Cat from above the pool down towards the diving board. He's down there, I trigger his DR, he could either try and come up to the roof or stay down there, you can see that when I land a shot on him there, I'll usually keep my aim halfway between the roof and the pool so I'll be quicker to aim at him when he decloaks and to get a better view of the area around me.

As for the other headshots like the flick on the scout. Not only does that come with practice but it's also necessary when fighting a scout with amby. Could you really track a scout's head precisely while using an ambassador? Well, if you can, you're a better spy than I. That's pretty much how I play both ambassador and sniper, and as you probably know, I'm nowhere near as good a sniper as I am a spy because I hardly play sniper anymore.

And finally, you'll also notice there's actually plenty of times I don't correctly know where a DR spy goes when they cloak, i.e. when Sir Cat stays down by the pool and hides behind the chair, I never even saw him until he came out to shoot at me. Also there's another time when he comes up to the roof and decloaks right next to me and I didn't know. Most of the shots I take at DR spies are complete guesswork and at best, simple logic. Look where the spy is heading, shoot in that vacinity. It works more often than you'd think.

Anyway, I've had my say. Personally, I don't even think that demo is even that strange, I have plenty of clips of some more lucky spy stuff I've pulled off while playing with a few friends like Masoku, where you can see the clip from both of our perpectives. They're the product of a lot of time wasted playing video games, spoiler: You get good at the class.

I will talk with @alperrt and return "shortly" with an answer.

His prediction of deathfeigning spies seems pretty natural to me. I paused the demo and turned off the demo wallhacks whenever a spy was triggered, and for the most part I checked in approximately(being kind to myself here) the same areas as he did in the demo, but I didn't have the added benefit of a crit marker. The one on the fence by the portal looks way more like taking the quickest route to the next little batch of health+ammo on the other side, completely coincidentally ramming a spy in the process.

The aiming is fine, he hits perhaps 10-15% headshots in the first 1/3rd of the demo, then picks up the pace later on when he's in the zone.

The only fishy part I see is near the very start where he turns towards the spy on the ledge but out of sight, but there are several factors that could contribute to this, such as footsteps, voicecommands, cloaking, or simply having seen the spy sit there on other occasions.

What I do see here is group polarisation.

So @alperrt and I have been discussing and we would like to apologize to you @Fritz. Re-watching the demo shows no real signs of cheating, though some parts were a little bit suspicious but it could be plain luck.

What I do see here is group polarisation.
This is sadly, some truth to it. We were too hasty on making a decision and, as a result, ended with Fritz getting a ban. One should however realize that everyone makes mistakes and hopefully learns from them.

We hope to not re-do the same mistake again, please enjoy playing again!
