Hi everybody,

After I experienced multiple weird problems with my new gaming mouse I hope somebody here might be able to help.

Just bought a new gaming mouse because the old mouse right button did not really work anymore. Kind of problematic if you play dodgeball.

So I got a Roccat Tyon because in the shop I liked the ergonomic design.

At first I was also excited about the performance… until I run into several problems:

1) mouse does not always register when I boot up my computer (USB unpluck/insert again necessary)

2) some movement/button combination caused the audio to turn off during game a couple of times. WTF

3) some movement/button (downspike I think) let me sometimes freeze in the looking-down- position. I still can move with the keyboard-buttons but it wont react to the mouse axis anymore. Of course that’s deadly. In this case also the general keyboard setting seems changed. Tab does not bring up the player list but goes back to desktop. And it changes Keyboard layout back to German.

This should not happen just because I click some buttons on the mouse?

So I wonder if anybody experienced something similar and knows how to fix those bugs?

Greetings booooom

Unironically I have to ask: did you try installing new drivers or just re-installing the current one? Got nothing else.

That sounds like a bit more than just a driver problem to me if I'm entirely honest. Might be a hardware thing. Especially the fact that it only sporadically registers and that it dies (?) when moved abruptly (downspike, etc.) give me that feeling.

However I'm not familiar with your particular model, so it might, for some reason, actually act that way normally.

thanks for the replies so far,

Evo, yes I installed the Driver from the official Website already.

In the meantime i found out about the sound.
There was indeed an allocated button-combination to turn off/on the Windows sound entirely. I deactivated it.

Still no explanation why the mouse would not initiate/register when i turn on my PC with the mouse plugged in.

Still no explanation for the freezing looking down. but I have the feeling that this only happens if I play with very high sens

I actually don't know what could be wrong. But try contacting the company. If possible. Ask some questions about the product and maybe some advice. Otherwise It could be just some tweaking in the settings. I never used that mouse myself so these are just suggestions. but besides that good luck.
