Ping issues on the USA Dodgeball server (1 Viewer)

Hello

I frequently play the USA dodge-ball servers and recently i have noticed that i am getting lag spikes a lot. Whenever i'm playing my ping will suddenly shoot up from 70ms to 150ms
(150 exact) every 5 minutes. I live in Jamaica but this is the only server this happens on and it never used to happen a month ago.
i know its probably something on my end of the internet but I have tried everything to fix this but nothing works. I'm wondering if i'm the only one getting this or is there a fix i haven't seen

USA has been being ddos'ed lately.

I think @Kevin might be working on a solution?

Kevin posted an image of the updates in the shoutbox ages ago. The company who owns the server was saying that they where being threatened to be ddos and if they didn't take down certain amounts of consumers they would do it. After a while I think they tried to comply but the who threatened are still ddosing (and asking more to be taken down)

They said if we where thinking about moving services just wait a little while longer. Depending on how long it goes on for depends if Kevin will think about switching who knows.

As far as we are aware, the ddos is not against us but the company of the server.

not much i can do about, i've already spent hours writing with them and already got a discount SLA out of it.
either accept the lags or play temp. on our NY servers.

seems to be somewhat resolved now i guess, checks from my german monitoring server atleast dont show any recent issues infact of networking.

france however shows some kind of loss but this might be peering related or aswell due to the ddos protection dropping some ICMP packets here and there, nothing too worrying though.
