As i dont see it really useful anyways and it mostly detects legit players its just annoying and useless.
Should the vote succeed i'm going to remove the plugin and aswell unban all players which are still banned by it.

I don't know the figures on how many actual namehackers it bans. For all we know there are probably dozens of people out there who it banned but who just left and never appealed, so looking at the bans is not even an accurate indication.

I'd say remove it and if suddenly more namehackers are noticed, put it back.

Keep in mind some cases have been positive. With the removal of it I'm expected to see a form of increase in people who name hack and I hope everybody in the admin team is brushed up on how to deal with a name hacker :p

Examples of positives, backed up by evidence in GameME events ;

Most though are false, so it's worth removing it.

vote seems to be pretty clear, will be removed today.

Too bad it just can't see the difference between a 3rd party program/code and a legit user that change's name at a rapid pashe
Because it was never designed that way. The plugin assumes people have better use of their time than to change their Steam name every minute, which I think is a fair assumption.

Then again, the general consensus for writing any sort of code is dumb it down to the point where people with the IQ of plant matter can not fuck it up so I think the people with the false positives have a greater problem than just being banned.

unbanned ~500 people which were still perm. banned due to the name hacking detection.
the ~ behind the number makes everything seeming better even if there were over 500 people who got banned in the past and who maybe won't rejoin our servers just for this plugin. Dem
