Remove the short circuit or w/e it's called from Freak Fortress. It's simply too op.
And if we decide to keep it, make it work effectively on all of the hales, and not just on a couple of them, because an example is, it doesn't work on Gaben, he gets stun, but he can still hit.

Yeah it's really OP but some hales can like escape it by raging or being a heavy.

Atleast the hale my brother and I were, couldn't. We both used rage constantly but never managed to escape because 1 engineer kept stunning us.

Yeah I noticed. You can actually only escape it with an heavy hale or with a hale that has teleporting skills, a rage like nopegineer or exploding as rage.

I'd honestly say remove the short circuit cause it's to op, I mean there is nothing fun about being in a corner stunned all the time by a short circuit engi, it kinda takes away the fun of the players being hale

Well, I agree with this one. OP or not.
This is not fun at all.
This really stops the gameplay flow, the engy already has a big advantage in FF2 with his sentry nest and a pompson what removes rage. (really usefull but not many use it tho)
But a weapon what makes the Hale stun for a really long time (no skill required like the sandman) is a bit ridiculus.

Ohwell~ It's atleast not as OP as the RTD option I what I truly see as the gamebreaking thing in there.
It was really fun to be finally hale after 28 turns and then some Donator rolls insta kills, Jolly good show I say!
 
The ammo (metal) regeneration is the problem related to this weapon. The short circuit has always had the ability to stun hales, unless of course it was a hale with a heavy weapon/model (not sure which). Heavies cannot be stunned the same way as other classes can.

I remember 3+ years ago that the short circuit had the stun effect, most people would just grumble angrily until the offending Engineer ran out of ammo.

Either remove the short circuit or reduce/get rid of the ammo generation, which would also nerf the Engineer quite hard.
 
Iv had this problem on an old server i used to be on. We increased the ammo cost and the attack speed got lowered, it worked out really good i must say
 
Having witnessed the short circuit single-handedly stop a hale completely (The administrator), I believe this weapon needs a heavy nerf, or needs to be removed.

The incapacitating effect on it is just too strong to be dealt with if the hale cannot outrun the engineer, which in this instance, the hale couldn't.

I've talked with @SHADoW93 about this matter (some might know him, some dont), but he put down a big cooldown on the short circuit in the server he is working in. Maybe if we could do the same, it might just work out. *me repeating what Wolfeh said*

I don't know if people will like it when the short circuit gets removed since many people use it in their loadout. But then you get people agreeing with the removal, since it's just straight up annoying. I guess a nerf is the best option.

There are always two sides of a card. You can't make both agree with the same matter.
 
It is possible to disable this stun effect on VSH, but I am not sure if it works on FF2.
 
Yeah, this weapon should be removed.

Together with well-placed sentries, it can completely disables certain bosses, more so when several engineers are present.

People use it in their loadout because it's broken and an easy getaway! A hard nerf could do the work.

is it possible to get any feedback? from the almighty leader?
 
Honestly in place of removing why don't just replace the stun with a slow, so engies can outrun the hale in place of making him unable to do ANYTHING (except the heavy hales then).

This would still give the weapon a purpose but not annoying the living shit out of the players
