Hi,
on panda jailbreak there are a lot of kids on blu most of below 12 or 13 years old. This has been making most jb players mad or furious, because the kids either don't know most of the rules or how to be warden, argue on mic, are unclear or are just in general are annoying to most players. I think there should be atleast like a minor age restriction on jb of the team blu. Suggestions on how we could make that possible:
  1. Try to tell them to not be on blu.
  2. Ask the admins for mic checks.
  3. Reports.
Now, some kids like xxsepdiceyexx (I prolly misspelled it) aren't that bad and are like "chill" ink we could make exceptions for these type of people/kids.
For how we could tell whether a kid on blu is good "chill" or not is by how they play/act. How we could tell if it's a kid is by their voice. Most kids are either squeakers or just sound young in general.
Now again, i'm not making this post against youngster like teenagers, it's against really young kids like bellow 12 years old.

Let’s ask the all mighty question
H O W are we gonna make this work in the first place?
oh shit I forgot to put a flppin explanation but I rather not because the suggestion is making me laugh.

deadass can you read? Mainly through admins doing mic checks or just listening to blu team or through jb players that could report or try to encourage kids to leave blu.

Does it even have anything to do with age then? You just want to get rid of the bad BLUs that would get BLU banned anyways. "Let's mute all the kids, except some kids, idk the admins can enforce it!"

Ok I guess I can put an explanation down because I feel like it xD.

The first part is How are you going to know if they are under 13. No you cannot say they sound like it because that's assuming.

The second part is the most I'm afraid of is the reputation of the server. If were to add this as a rule of some sort we can say that "This server doesn't like to treat the underage kids thus going to other jb servers such as blandwonder or any other jb server would treat me more fairly."

deadass can you read? Manly through admins doing mic checks or just listening to blu team or through jb players that could report or try to encourage kids to leavve blu.
No I'm not taking that response. As I said earlier you cannot assume their age just by talking. If for some reason a player who wants to appeal because they were underage, A rule would be like...

Any Player who was Guardbanned due to underage must show their ID/Passport to confirm their age. Otherwise the appeal would be declined or Invalid

See how annoying this gets? Their Parent/Guardian Would have to show their flippin ID of their child in order to play on BLU team and most of the time the parent is going to say no because the Parent doesn't even know what panda.tf or Panda-community is.

Now, some kids like xxsepdiceyexx (I prolly misspelled it) aren't that bad and are like "chill" ink we could make exceptions for these type of people/kids.

That will be unfair because you can't just go around and say which underage BLU is the best. There will be a lot of complains about "OH HES UNDERAGE BAN HIM WTF NM,GE SEGIOSE HFBIOSEF BAWEF UIOB UIOBSEF" and your response will be "Since he is the best BLU he doesn't get guardbanned."

This entire suggestion is just discouraging kids to be on blu mostly a joke as well. I don't have much to say here.

I don't like this idea at all. JB is a gamemode that is bound to attract kids. A younger person on blu is bound to happen, why should we essentially block a big part of the community from participating on blu? your only "suggestion" here is that admins have to do more work and make sure that the people on blu are over the age of 12 , are chill, and do mic checks on EVERY new person on blu. If that isn't done properly, people will try to say admins are favoring. Considering there isn't a lot of active JB admins, i don't think this is a great idea and if it is accepted it might effect the server population in a negative way. Very little point in ostracizing a large part of the community like this :(. it isn't our business to know everyones age, lots of people are private about ages, no way to fact check them either.

i see what you're saying with this suggestion, but it's just not feasible. I think everyone gets a lil annoyed at blu team now and then, but taking it out on a big part of the JB population is not that way to go about it.

Does this come under the no speaker rule ?

Idek how you'd keep track of who is too young and needs to be restricted and who is old enough/is an exception, simply having the admins enforce it would definitely lead to confusion of "Did we mic check this person before?" which just leads to same person being asked multiple times by different admins if they are of age. There's a lot of holes in this suggestion, but it's definitely got atleast some ounce of reasoning behind it.

Would it not be really is to tell?

Player uses mic, ow it’s a squeaky kid who shouldn’t be on blu. Guard ban or they leave by choice.

Move on with round?

The thing is, if you're a THRIVING community who CARES about the players, you wont want to guard ban someone just for being a squeaky kid. This entire suggestion already goes under existing rules, like "guard banning BLUs who doesn't know how to play as a guard/warden" and is really pointless

I completely disagree with this premise, it is just getting rid of a large, often fresh, player base who joins the server and returns regularly, through no fault of their own. Yes, sometimes it can be annoying with a failround (as vecomti said, there is already a provision in the rules for not knowing said rules/ willing to be warden) and most admins on might guard ban them for what, 30-60 minutes connected so they learn the basics without having extremely negative side effects like a permanent guard ban or even a 720 ban.

As far as mics go, cut them some slack. Everyone was younger once and wanted to talk with their friends and are often receptive if you politely ask them not micspam on round end or things like that. But again, think about how the server would be viewed if we did something like that: we would be the no fun jb who favors regulars and bans younger children. That is not how you grow a server, that is how you kill it.

This entire suggestion is useless IMO.

Suggestions on how we could make that possible:
  1. Try to tell them to not be on blu.
  2. Ask the admins for mic checks.
  3. Reports.

If they are such bad BLUs and don't know rules then simply just start recording to catch them not following the rules? I find it such bullshit that you want young kids gone just because they are annoying on mic, how long do you want them to be muted or guardbanned??

This whole suggestion is redundant, you can fix it by just asking the kids to get off BLU or correcting them on the rules, If they do not follow what you're saying and continue to break the rules then report them. This is essentially what you're asking for so why not just do that???????

I didnt read everything in the thread in detail but just from the OP there's such a huge flaw already.

The only way to enforce this is to have admins present, as you said.

...Okay so if there's already an admin there, if the Blu kid does a bad job, they'll be punished anyways. And if they don't do a bad job, proceed as usual.

I get your frustration, I really do, and I even get it if obvious kids that can barely read get harsher treatment. But to ban young fellas on the border of that age group without them making any mistakes would be just as premature as the kids you're trying to target. (I had to.)
