I'm here with a new map entry, hope it looks okay for y'all!
It's a really big open map, it looks similar to hellaswag, dustshowdown and crevice.

Here are some screenshots [ coming as soon as possible ]:

I've got the inspiration from a Super Mario Sunshine level whose name was Bianco Hills,
obviously.

By looking at the screenshots I think this map is nice.

Also, big or small health/ammo packs?

Only small ammo packs and medium health packs.

@Kevin I would like to hear something from you, at least an opinion.

Hmm, this map looks nice and well-made, the real question is: Are there any invisible walls preventing you from going on top of a house?
The question is a bit dumb, but it's worth asking, as being on top of a high thing is important to Snipers and Engineers.

No, you can access every roof but you cannot access the walls on the sides that surround the entire map.

Take this as a crappy example: ||==|| the vertical lines are the walls on the sides while the lines in the middle are a wall you can access, you got me?

Looks well made. Interested to see how many health packs and such are around. Also can you give a map comparison to the size I haven’t got time to go and check cause it looks huge

I'm not sure if it's a right comparison:

Yeah, I gotchu, that way, I have no problem with the map myself, looks pretty good.

Played the map when it was still a work in progress, seemed nice at the time.
I like the map. I think it should be added :)

@Kevin if you are ever going to put this map in the servers, remember also to put the latest version of vsh_granturks there

Posting on behalf of @Husky

Fuck me, the first thing that happened was my eyes burned from the brightness of the map, might wanna tone it down a bit.

*No texture and displacement sticking out*

*Maybe add a ladder here if you're making it accesible*

Now, the map is quite large meaning everything is spaced apart with legit nothing to compensate for the size, the buildings are useless, even though I don't play VSH or FF2, I think there should be something opened up for variety as all you have now are just different shapes and sized, with the same colour scheme.

Uhhhhh, the health/ammo packs are quite far apart, I don't know if thats actually good or bad, but I still think the maps size should be reduced, also, you can make the outskirts of the map a 3D skybox reducing compiling time, loading time for players etc.

Also, you really will need to add a cooldown to the jumppads or reduce the distance they will push you since it can easily be exploitable, jumping from 1 jumppad to another then going back without taking damage, allowing you to escape the hale with pretty much no consequences as seen here, I was just tapping "s" to slow myself down.

Coolio, that's all I spotted because I'm actually too lazy to go looking at every single detail as this isn't my gamemode, or a game I play on that much anymore...honestly, I would go with a neutral but what do I know about VSH and FF2. kbye *dab*

Now, my own personal opinion.

I like the map. It has variety. Upper and lower levels. It's very big, but to counter this, the houses are inacsessible houses, meaning less hiding spots.

@Le Captain Pootis
In my game the truck doesn't look all black, I'll try watching it when I have time.
For the ladder, I think it's right.
I've made the buildings with the idea of hiding ( not camping ) and the other idea of decoration.
The color scheme is actually an inspiration from Bianco Hills, since all the buildings there have the same textures.
Health and Ammo packs look fine for me.
I don't want to reduce the map size, it ruins the map itself.
For the 3D skybox, yeah I'm gonna do that.
For the Jump Pads I was thinking to apply a cooldown.
Thanks for your opinion, it's impossible for a Mapper fixing all the mistakes without the help of other players ✌

Remember Aquilot, I am posting on the behalf of @Husky

@Husky replies with this:
The map is quite big, even for a VSH map, you could easily move it closer together and you might aswell throw in some of your own textures to make it your map, not a plain "rip-off" even though its not, variety is good in maps.

@Husky I need the others' opinions before.
I mean, I can't edit the map for only one player that rarely plays those gamemodes.

I get what you mean but I am just giving my opinions, textures won't ruin a gamemode, just because I don't play the gamemode now doesn't mean I haven't played it for a while long ago. I would reply for myself but I am unable to due to certain circumstances, this will be my final reply since I don't want to bother Pootis too much.

Hello again, I fixed some of the problems that @Husky reported:

- Now if a player uses a Boost Pad he has to wait 10 seconds 'til he can use it again and this doesn't affect other players [ Thanks @Benjamin for the help ].
- Added some crates to help non-high-jump classes to get on the buildings.

New features:

- Added 4 Fire Flowers in the map [ they work as common Spells ].
fiorefuoco.png
- Added looping soundtrack.
- Changed some map "features".
