It's going to end up as one of the commands that are always said at the beginnning of the round; "Medics no healing, spies have your sappers out, unintelligable whiners no calling freekill, etc."

Scouts have less health, are actually slower than a jetpack "in use" do less damage than a pyro melee. Now, have 6 of these guys jetting away at the start of the round in separate directions.Not really, for a couple reasons. You're in the air, for one; kinda having a similar effect on the utility of the weapon as in the parachute weapon for Soldier and Demo (which I can't remember the name of for the life of me). It also doesn't directly impact gameplay in such a manner as the shield. While the shield variants provide crits - of which there is no other direct weapon that is available for RED (could be wrong, but I'm thinking along the lines of Buffalo Steak, the old Sandman-Guillotine combo, etc). The shields also provide ridiculously strong resistances. The Thermal Thruster gives a short, temporary dash; bullet-based projectiles are still bloody murder. If Guards aren't able to handle one or two or five Thermal Thrusters, eh. It's the same thing as one or two or six Scouts, imo.

Why did you reply to 2 dead threads?I hope we never get the gas passer back but the thruster maybe make it so that it won’t recharge after its two uses
