After playing for some time on Jailbreak, the most frustrating thing I've experienced so far is the fulltime kritz for the guards as it is a completely massive crutch.

Ever had a scout with a pistol hitting you for 45 damage per tick from across the map? Yeah? Then you know the feeling.

I suggest the removal of Fulltime Kritz from Guards as there's usually a lot of people on the BLU team and it's impossible to win, since just 1 stare from a guard and you lose all of your HP because it's completely fair and balanced, right?

Or if that does not fit the majority, I'd compromise and suggest that only the man in power - the Warden, has fulltime Kritz. A soldier with a rocket launcher with Kritz can easily control the crowd if he knows what he's doing and giving such a big crutch as fulltime kritz to a team of 7-8 guards against 16+ convicts is ridiculous.

If this gets accepted, put it on a test phase for 1 week to see how matches work out. If Jailbreak is then played how it is supposed to be played, then make it permanent if possible.
 
Couldn't exactly see that thread since it's invisible to me, but if people have fun being insta-murdered by a crutch, then so be it.
 
I do think Crits ruins the game for those who like to rebel, I have sadly been the victim of a crit heavy from across the map..

Just bumping to say there's a poll been added. Whilst his topic has already been discussed I think it would be nice to retouch this subject but keep the vote open for longer this time to give more people a chance to give their own opinions; not just the jailbreak admins who primarily are on the guard team themselves. Also, I'm not sure if there was an option for the warden to be the only one with full time crits which imo would be a lot better.

I know I'm not a jailbreak regular but I've been on a few times with Hawwis, mermite and broski the past few days and it's fun trying to rebel, like it was supposed to be played. Although this difficult when there's 4 scout guards aside from the warden constantly who will one shot you if they see you even walk forward to try anything. For this reason I Think it would be reasonable to make crits a warden only perk.

We had a poll about this less than a month ago, is this really necessary?

Speaking as a JailBreak player and being able to be on both RED and BLU it can get really annoying especially if for example you are the Warden on BLU and you get a random a$$ freekilling 5 people you turn on FF after giving the warning they kill you then go on freekilling and teamkilling so I for one have to say that taking the full crits off will be a good idea because it will make the game more fun to play on and people may stop b!tching about it all the time
 
i think the full time crits are necessary to keep control over the red team, yes it is frustrating to get killed by a scout or a heavy across the map, but it is even more in my opinion, to not be able of doing a round because the blu team gets ganbanged by a team without the possibility to do anything at every round =/

That's why there's the option for the warden to have crits only. A lot of the fun in the game is being a red and trying to rebel, it isn't always fun having to listen and follow what the warden is saying; whilst I get your point that crits help control the team, it isn't necessary and it ruins the fun for a lot of people.
 
yes, anyway i am part of the few people that voted to keep them so looks like they will be removed anyway =/

Uh what if a demo charge kills the Warden who has the city? It wouldn't be easy to kill him if he charges at the time that the Warden isn't looking at the reds so he will die

Eee no if he is going to open a door ex. Crush game's door he will be facing the buttons and while he is facing the buttons a demo could charge kill him but with critz for all the blues if someone is quick and he is so sure that the demo will charge at the Warden he will kill him before he kills the Warden

I think guards need crits. It is not that it is impossible as a red to kill the warden when the gaurds have crits. I have seen it happen many times. It would also be impossible to kill a group of demomen charging at you (or just the whole red team) as a blu.
I think a solution is a ratio of 1 guard per 3 prisoners because I understand that it is hard to rebel when there are 8 guards and 16 prisoners (or 5 on 10 etc.).
