and how do you propose that is enforced? it is an extremely common thing to happen and i think it'd be far easier to simply root it out at the source.

You can camp your own spawn with pretty much every class so rooting it out at the source seems impractical. I suppose it'd be enforced the same way that the normal rule against spawncamping is enforced? I don't really see the issue there.

Reverse spawncamping needs to be against the rules because of recent people have started to do it more often and at the best, you can only give your genuine advice of not doing it because it's not fair for anyone else. People usually play sniper for this and their team mates notice this, so they start griefing them and in return they complain about being griefed.

Reverse spawncamping also does not bring any good gameplay variety to the server and people empty out pretty quickly because they have no fair chance of fighting that 1 lonely machina sniper.

Make this a rule and we hit 2 birds with 1 stone as the general trolly attitude of the people who play here does cause such problems.

Is reverse spawncamping standing in these zones killing people with the sniper rifle? I thought they were made for this purpose, and i'm getting insulted and griefed everytime i come on the Hightower servers for staying at the place on the picture as sniper, EvoWarrior5 said it was.

You didn't make it clear where you were. I thought you meant you were standing in the places BIank indicated, not this one. I would not consider this reverse spawncamping.

I would consider everything that's on the elevated >spawn< area "reverse spawncamping" (what a ridiculous term) because else this rule wouldn't make much sense since circumventing it would be incredibly easy.

I'd suggest that everything up to the main spawn door wooden exit/entrance to be considered as reverse spawncamping, as enforcing the "elevated spawn area" rule would be pushing it a bit too far.

Like I said, circumventing a rule like that is incredibly easy to the point where the rule itself kind of looses its meaning.

Can we have this rule added now? It's been a long time, more people are starting to do this shit, it's frustrating for everyone and causes more havoc than it should, just make the rule apply to all of spawn.
